From a raw sewage problem at the front of the hotel to a filthy and smelly rollaway bed, we were extremely disappointed. In fact, we checked out early to move to a more acceptable hotel. Additionally, housekeeping was sloppy. The housekeeper worked in her bare feet. She also failed to remove trash from the room.

My husband & I had to stay 9 nights at the Residence Inn because our new home wasn't ready yet. We have two large dogs & a 7 year old son. We were expecting it to be awful but thanks to the friendly staff @ the Residence Inn our stay was enjoyable. The Mixer was a nice way to unwind & the basketball court was a hit with our son. The outside patio area was a great place to relax after a long day. If you need a place to stay that is pet friendly, clean & an overall friendly environment I would suggest staying at the Residence Inn. Kim & her staff will make you feel like family.

The property was new and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were plesently surprised by a free happy hour! We travel with a puppy and they are glad to have pets. I was surprised by the $100 fee for special cleaning, but I learned to check hotels directly and not rely on Trip Adviser. This is a very comfortable hotel.

The room was spacious and the hotel was really quiet. We had issues with one of the toilets, but they took care of it. The breakfast is good - nothing noteworthy, but definitely not bad. We were satisfied with everything.

Overall this is a nice property. They are undergoing a major renovation at this time, however, so there were no ground floor rooms available. This meant that my disabled husband either had to repeatedly climb the stairs to the 3rd floor, or else had to walk from the central elevator to the far end of the hallway. He also was unable to use the pool, which was closed due to the renovations. He depends on his daily swim to help with flexibility and mobility. He wound up just staying in the room most of the time. The mattress had no support at all, to the point that after the first night we wound up sleeping on the fold-out couch instead of the bed. The first night, we tried sleeping on the bed but wound up in so much pain that neither one of us got any sleep. The manager offered to put a board under the mattress, but by that time my husband had moved to the couch and was catching up on sleep, so I didn't want maintenance going into the room. Just before checkout, I discovered one other problem... the overflow drain on both sinks--bathroom and kitchen--were not hooked up. This meant that both sinks had huge puddles of water under them, and many of our belongings were soaking wet. The manager, Kim, did offer to put some points on my Marriott Rewards account to compensate for our issues, but so far that hasn't happened. I will update this review if that changes.

I requested a quiet room before I arrived and at check-in. I was very satisfied with my room and encountered no disturbances while I was there. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen adequately equipped with dishes and cookware. A dish drainer would have been handy to have to avoid hand drying. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I would like to recognize Tyler and Nydia who were especially kind during my visit. I do have one criticism which could be easily remedied. Pets are allowed in this hotel. It seems, though, that some owners do not clean up after their animals. This is noticeable if you spend time outside walking the grounds. A few well placed signs with waste disposal bags should take care of this.

I can't say enough about my stay at this hotel. The staff is incredible. Very nice and genuinely caring. Felt like being home. Since it was Thanksgiving week—it was nice to feel like it was a home away from home. Plan to be back next year!

The GM Rhonda and Front Office Mgr Kim are DELIGHTFUL!! The rooms are clean and fresh and ready for a one night stay or a 6 night stay like we did. Didn't use the pool, hot tub or fitness center. The Mix in the evenings is a nice touch!! As a fellow Marriott employee, I know what I like in a hotel and this property had it all!! Would DEFINITELY stay again as well as recommend!!

If you're trying to decide where to stay while in Tulsa, look no further. I am a 20 yr. hotel inspector veteran with the resort cruise industry and assure you that the few dollars extra you might be quibbling about in making your decision will not leave you disappointed. The words to consider are pride and excellence in value for the service and hospitality you will experience upon checking into and staying at this hotel. The rooms are updated and exceptionally clean and provide a personal touch of pride by the housekeeping team. Guest service staff are sincerely attentive and anticipatory of your every need upon check in. Everything I would expect from a Hospitality team . Koodos to the management. Even the maintenance guy stepped aside and welcomed us to the property! Special mention here to the General Manager, Brandon Thurmond because without a excellent management team's support of staff and influence, none of this would have been possible. Excellent job team! I hope Marriott is paying attention in Tulsa. I'm in a new career now, but still paying attention to the smallest of details which delight customers and keep them coming back time after time for generations.

Scary dirty. The pull out bed had an old mattress which had numerous brown stains on it. We asked to change rooms and they showed us two other rooms. The horrible stains were on them too. The king bed was such an old mattress that it had a dip in the middle. The sheets were so worn you could see through them. Don't know how Marriott can allow this disgusting situation in one of its hotels. Don't even want to know what the stains were from. We put 2 blankets in the mattress and made it through. Never again!
