We have stayed in this hotel before and the service is pretty good. However, we had a very bad experience this time when we check in as the manager was very rude and unprofessional .

Nice hotel close to beach and Marina. Not so close to Disneyland but hotel has an affordable shuttle and give perfect instructions to get their for about 40HKD each. Great

I was denied a refund for not being able to get to this hotel during a category 3 cyclone/typhoon!!! My plane landed over 3 hours late in HK during a typhoon. All public transportation was stopped and there was a 3 hour wait for a taxi. Winds were extremely strong and it was unsafe to be traveling through HK. This hotel didn't care and refused me a refund!

I love The Goldcoast Hotel it is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff I can't wait to return to this wonderful hotel!

Like the recently remodel rooms. The price for the rooms are unbeatable, except its far away from the city. But, you have a magnificant beach right there. I pick the beach any day.

Inconvenience for walking like shopping, great for beautiful HK beach vacation. Nice staff.

Long layover at airport necessitated and overnight stay that the hotel adequately accommodated my limited needs for an overnight respit.

The location is good if you want a relatively quiet environment. But every time you need to go to the city it takes about 40 minutes by MTR. The rooms are fairly clean and spacious but the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors' quarrels. On the weekend, the place is swarmed with mainlanders so it gets noisy. The daily live band is annoying as you can hear the same tunes every evening even being on the 18-th floor. The front desk barely speaks english, the housekeepers only know how to say "good morning" and "thank you for the tip". This is your typical 3-4 star hotel no matetr what they say.

The hotel is far from the tourist amenities, secluded and peaceful. At the time I visited the swimming pool was under repair was the only thing from being perfect. The restaurants had an excellent variety of foods for the value. The room was spacious, cleaned well, and the staff was friendly. I would be pleased to stay there again.

Great place to stay for the price and location. We were visiting relatives in Tuen Mun. We were so busy, we did not get to use the pool or gym, but we did plenty of walking and didn't miss the gym. We only ate the Dim Sum while we where there. Very leisure meal, but not the best quality for the money. Staff was all great. Easy enough to go to Kowloon or Hong Kong if you desire. We spent 3 days at Kimberly Hotel prior to this stay. Gold Coast offered much nicer room, especially for size. Our next stay will be at the Gold Coast or one of the Serviced Apartments at Gold Coast Complex. Much better value for the money than staying in center of Hong Kong. I have already told my friends about this location.

The Gold Coast Hotel was a Very nice surprise. the lobby area was very decorative with a feeling of welcome and comfort. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff never let me down. My view overlooking the beach and the bay was a wonderful start to the new day. The breakfast buffet was well prepared and delicious. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better place to come back too after a busy day.

don't give them your money!
