I liked pretty much everything. The only thing I can think of is that I could hear the people beside me and above me all hours of the day. That was a little irritating when trying to sleep. Otherwise it really is a beautiful place to stay.

This hotel has gone way down. The room didn't feel clean and the beds were made horribly. The pool isn't worth it either because there is no bar service, you have to get up to get your drinks and they close at 5. Basically they charge as if it were a way better hotel.

glad to see people of my color working there - wonderful!

Can't wait to go back!! This place exceeded my expectations.

Hotel was nice but the rooms were very far from the lobby. Drinks at the hotel bar seemed way overpriced for Tucson. Property was very dark and hilly - hard to navigate at night. Otherwise a good resort if you don’t have a lot of bags and like a lot of walking.

Great views of the Catalina’s. Great facilities. My family loves the pools. Staff was super nice. Coffee maker in our room wasn’t cleaned found that out when we went to make coffee this morning. On site restaurant, Azul, is over priced with a children’s menu that is utterly unappealing to children.

We've stayed here in the past, but this last visit was beyond disappointing. Our beds looked so poorly made that I had to inspect the linens to make sure they were in fact clean. (They were, thankfully) There was only one toiletry in the bathroom, which was a half used bottle of lotion. Not even a bar of soap to wash our hands with. Our room was also missing a bathrobe. I did not even care to use one at this point, but feared that I would get charged for one even though there wasn't one there to begin with, so I called the front desk to let them know what the room was lacking. No apologies, simply a "Someone will bring you the items shortly." When I told my husband that I was thinking of taking a bath, he went over to the tub, ran his finger across the basin and was disgusted when he saw the layer of green and white film that it left on his finger. I don't know what possessed him to do that, but I'm glad he did because I didn't realize how filthy it was. It was already getting late and we were only there for one evening, so it was not worth it to complain and request a clean room. Maybe it was just bad luck the last two times, but next time we may just consider another resort.

If you can imagine this, the OUTSTANDING front desk staff was most remarkable, and not only during our checkin, but litterally with each and every encounter. Of course the amenities are fabulous, too, but thats pretty obvious buy the photos. Everything we experienced during our 2-day stay was on point. We will return! I would LOVE to share photos, but unfortunately this review will only allow 6 photos and each must be under 5MB, so zero will be shared.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westin LaPaloma. The pools were great fun, the staff was very friendly, and our room was comfortable, spacious, quiet, and very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We loved this hotel definitely will be coming back

Great room with a view. The Axel restaurant served beautiful, delicious food and our service was great!

Great time. Love the pools. It's a bit of a walk to the parking lot but the facilities were very nice.

Nice relaxing place, great views, master suite was nice. Needed to be cleaned better ,found candy on floor under table ,penny on floor ,tables smeary and not clean!

very comfortable beds. wish room was closer to the pool, other than that hotel was great

The staff was very accommodating. The facilities or very nice, the room was very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed all the amenities , location and Great pool area. Only complaint was the pool bar didn't open until 11 am, coming from East Coast time that was pretty late!

I thought that the front desk staff was the nicest group. I also thought that everyone of the staff in the other parts of the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel and facilities are very nice. There were few hiccups, but overall we were happy. The location was a good jumping off point for a lot of sightseeing and in a beautiful area of Tucson. There's a free shuttle service anywhere within three miles in case you want to imbibe at dinner. The food was excellent at all of the locations on site. The staff was very friendly, yet there was a disconnect between areas of staffing. We picked the green alternative for room cleaning service based on the description given to us upon check in (normal cleaning service, just sheets not changed every day). In actuality the cleaning was limited to replacing towels and incidentals and emptying the garbage with a full cleaning every 3 days. It took about 5 days to get this straight after getting different stories from each different area of the hotel. Also, I recognize this may have been off-season, but two of the three nice afternoons while we were there they were cutting down trees in the pool areas and some of the pools/hot tubs were closed. When the tip was included right off the bat (like at the pool), service dropped noticeably (except for one blond lady, who was awesome one day). Only one staff-person marred the image there--Gabrielle in the lobby bar, who was sarcastic and rude and would rather flirt with the bartender than deal with the guests. Fortunately only ran into her the one time. These little hiccups were minor irritations that did not matter in the long run.

Service is terrible from the Bar, restaurants and room service.

Thank you for sharing your valued feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your recent stay failed to meet your expectations or our high standards. The experience you have described regarding the state of your guestroom is truly disappointing, for our Housekeepers work very hard to ensure that each guestroom and bathroom are clean. We empathize with your obvious disappointment, and we are sharing your comments to make sure these shortfalls are not repeated. We thank you for your previous visits, and we hope to have an opportunity to show you an improved experience in the future. Sincerely, Jim Morrissey—General Manager
