This hotel is located in a portion of town that has lots of bars on the windows of near by places, but once inside the place was just fine... My wifi kept shutting off which was frustrating... And the AC in my room read intermittently... The hotel staff were pleasant and professional... The breakfast was excellent.
We selected this hotel for 2 soccer teams based on 2 things - Trip advisor feedback & location. Rooms were ready & clean when everyone arrived, the staff tried to keep teams together in the hotel (most likely to preserve the peace for the other hotel guests but it worked!) and that was just at check in. It seemed every time we turned around, we were asking for something from the hotel staff & they were extremely accommodating. The breakfast was standard continental plus waffles, coffee was plentiful & with 30+ families all trying to get fed & out the door within an hour, staff had to do some fast-refilling of the breakfast items. Nothing super fancy, but if you are looking for a place to lay your head that is clean, courteous & a good price, this is an excellent hotel.
I stayed in the Green Valley Comfort Inn over Labor Day 2016 for three nights. The Comfort Inn is conveniently located just off I-19 close to Tucson. The location worked well as a jumping off place for day trips to Bisbee, Tombstone, Tubac and the old missions of Tumacacori and San Xavier de Bac. The staff was pleasant and helpful. As well, the breakfast voucher system , included in my room rate was a a nice touch as I was able to chose what I wanted from an ample morning menu. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore SE Arizona from a central location.
The hotel is fairly new and clean. Beds comfortable, and a good shower. Air conditioner a bit loud. Found out later from locals that the location is a little sketchy, but we didn't encounter any problems. Just off a couple major roads so getting around Tucson for 3 days was not an issue.
This Comfort Inn was very busy the weekend we stayed. Parking was tough as was getting into the location. Our room was located next to the elevator and was noisy. Breakfast was the normal Choice Hotels breakfast.
I loved this hotel! The staff were all friendly and helpful, from before I checked in and made a call to confirm, all the way down to my final goodbye. I never felt like I was troubling them when I had a question or needed some kind of help. As I have family in Tucson, I can definitely say I'll be staying here again. The room was a nice size and clean, as expected. The sheets surprised me, though - with how soft they were! The tub was big and I enjoyed a couple baths in it. I had a fridge and microwave, and while they were nothing spectacular they did the job and helped me save a little money on my trip by going to the grocery store. I also thought the parking lot was a good size, as I never had trouble finding a spot and there was always a (key card required for entry) door near by to get me right in. Location was also good, as it was a quick drive from the airport and the proximity to the 10 made getting around the city to my various destinations easy. i felt comfortable in the neighborhood and there were plenty of stores and places to get food within a short drive.
This was a great place to stay for our time in Tucson, everything was clean, staff was very friendly and there's a pool and hot tub. I wasn't totally satisfied with the continental b fast but didn't expect much more anyway.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The young man at the reception desk was so pleasant to deal with. Our room was quite and very comfortable. We have stayed at other comfort Inns and have enjoyed every one of them.
I live in Tucson and didn't want to make a drive back home so I stayed here I saw the reviews but I like to see it first hand the curve appeal was nice and tidy had but trouble finding the entrance over all I was greeted by a polite gentleman who got me my room key and showed the way To the elevator the room was very nice and clean had a weird smell to it but went away restroom was clean had ample towels bed was so comfy it was a overall great stay if I have family over I will recommend this hotel to them
Big problem getting the door to the room open. Green light on, pushing firmly down... Many, many tries, with both keys... The door handle has to be LIFTED UP to access the room... Nowhere else on this continent (or in Europe for that matter) have I EVER pulled UP on a door handle... At the very least, put an arrow indicating which way these operate!! There were two parking lot lights outside my window. Never a problem... EXCEPT HERE. the 'blackout' curtain is WHITE. It magnified the light spectacularly, creating a bright, bright glowing light in the room. Not so good for sleeping... There are true blackout curtains, but they are NOT designed to go across the window; they are dressing only. And floor length... Which would cover the AC unit IF one was able to pull them across the window... Needless to say, I didn't sleep well at all... In the morning, I mentioned the lighting problem to the front desk. She did not believe me, insisted I hadn't pulled the blackout curtains... She did come to the room, intending to disprove my statement, but was shown that the curtains did not even block the weak early morning light.... Then said she never had a complaint about the light... The part that really annoyed me? She told me I should have requested another room when I found the problem... Yeah, right about 0100, after my shower, WHEN I TURNED THE LIGHTS OUT. Because that sure would have been convenient for me.. I'll just pack up everything, get dressed, wake my husband, and go ask for another room... Sure. NOT a great experience, very disappointed in this property.
