eeyhin was ine except the brreakfast and dinnerr restaurant .the food did not warrant the cost, specially the breakfast
I took my family here to feel the experience for independence as if we were in a different country, but some of the staff were able to confirm the feeling that this is Trinidad with their disgusting attitude that the locals working KFC has.
The landscape is uniquely beautiful unlike most parts of the island.
I was initially placed in a room with the " back of the pool" view. It was upsetting, especially since the hotel was not filled with clients. The room service was great

Giselle was amazing at front desk.
It was a fine stay
Love the history of the building and the uniqueness of being "an upside-down hotel." Overlooks the Queen's Park Savanah and close to many historic buildings. Many changes have been implemented since Covid. Unfortunately, the Terrace Staff needs to acknowledge it's guests.
It’s an old hotel in a great location of views of surrounding mountains and distant ocean views.
Like the location - very convenient to Port of Spain and the Savannah. Didn't like the carpet in our room. It appeared worn and somewhat dirty.
The AC in our room never worked. Brought the issue to the attention of guest services, they said that it was a technical issue, and moved us to an "executive room" this was after making numerous complaints. The new room was smaller not as modern and the bed was considerably smaller. Our original room was never cleaned over the two days we were in the room, we never had any coffee amenities. This was really poor. Absolutely disgusted with this treatment. Would not recommend.
Location
Definitely needs an upgrade but location was perfect! Staff was always accommodating and very pleasant. Will definitely stay again!
Great location, very conveniently located. Friendly and professional staff. Nice atmosphere
