The hotel was very modern with great facilities. Take note that he hotel is 30 minutes from Venice and 15-20 minutes from the airport - a bus transfer is available between both, is reasonably priced but needs to be arranged in advance.
Rooms larger than most hotels. Windows that open. All the facilities - including coffee or tea making - that top flight hotels provide. Good quality creams etc. Spotless housekeeping. Lovely outdoor space with plenty of seating. Wonderful outdoor swimming pool. Dined in evening. Beef Angus the best ever. Staff could speak English and so ordering easy and quick. Breakfast variety was amazing and plentiful. Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. Staff friendly and willing.
My friend and I stayed here three days prior to departing on a 7 day cruise throughout the Mediterranean, as well as two after the cruise. The property had a very sexy vibe. From the outdoor dining options, the pool and spa area, lobby etc., it was all very grown and sexy. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was quite so we were able to decompress from a week of traveling. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would visit again.
We felt very welcome in this place. The swimming pool was very nice. Breakfast was really good 😊. Dinner was DELICIOUS as well. We really enjoy our stay. It was very calm and just 20 minutes from Downtown
I was in a group tour of 25 people. After our tour guide handed our room keys to us we were told to submit a form to front desk to obtain a password for wifi. After submitting my duly filled form I handed it to your front desk staff. A few others from our group did the same. The front desk staff just left the forms on the counter and ignored them! Meanwhile another front desk staff asked the other people in our group to queue and submit their forms to her! I asked her "what about our other forms lying on the counter?" She said "we submitted to the other staff so the other staff will handle them" BUT the other staff was NOT ATTENDING TO OUR FORMS! Finally the other staff just WALKED AWAY FROM THE COUNTER! We were the ones who submitted our forms FIRST! We were made to wait till our entire group had got their passwords! This is BAD SERVICE! 1. Why were we ignored by BOTH your staff? 2. All this just to get a piece of paper with the password. This password could easily have been issued together with the keys! I have stayed at another doubletree hotel in another country. We did not have to go through this just to get the SAME password! We were already very tired. The last we expected is this kind of bad service, sadly, from a hotel operating under the Hilton banner!
Stayed here back in July with my wife and 13 year old grandson. This is a very modern hotel constructed of steel and glass. The hotel has a spacious, unhurried feel to it. It is somewhat remote about half an hour from both the airport and Venice and whilst there is a non-complimentary shuttle bus, it is best to have a car - as there are shops and restaurants within a short drive. The room was large enough for the three of us and the pull out sofa bed was reported to be very comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, going out of their way to tell about the ways in which we could reach Venice. The hotel restaurant was straight forward but nice of an evening with music provided on the patio outside. Here you could also have a very pleasant evening drink or two. The swimming pool was excellent with efficient bar service for drinks and meals. A lovely stay helped by the excellent weather and attentive staff.
Stayed here for a few nights for a romantic trip to Venice. Didn't mind staying outside the city centre and the hotel provided a shuttle service throughout the entire day. Breakfast buffet was amazing! Completely spoilt for choice too. Spent the first night eating in the restaurant with live music and professional service. The hotel staff were always on hand for extra tea bags (typical brits!) and nothing was too much of an ask. The room was spotless and very very cosy. Walk in shower with various settings, probably my favourite part of it all! The pool area was beautifully designed; very modern. Sauna and steam room too! All the staff were so accommodating. Couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. Whether it's for business or pleasure then I would highly recommend this location. Not to mention the executive rooms have balconies, I would definitely recommend paying extra to have the simple pleasure of walking out into the sunshine every morning. Top quality stay!
The hotel is a newer and nice location. It is in the absolute middle of no where with no shuttle service to any restaurants and none within walking distance. There was a wedding one night we were there and we had to have our room switched. It was incredibly loud. You could hear the people talking, the children playing, and the music in our room. They easily switched our room, but with a full hotel, we felt bad for the people who couldn't switch. Would not recommend if you are wanting a convenient location.
Loved the Doubletree Venice North. Yes, it is a little way from Venice Island but if you take the train from Mogliano Venito (return 5 euros) you get to the heart of the action quickly & cheaply. The Hotel itself is modern and practical with great leisure facilities such as a heated pool, gym and steam room and sauna. There's a singer most evenings and the restaurant and bar are good. Reception team extremely helpful and duty manager was approachable and helpful too. Room was nice with large bathroom. Altogether an excellent choice for a break near Venice. Treviso is worth a visit too!
This hotel is situated away from the crowded city. An excellent hotel comfortable rooms and large shower cubile in the bathroom Buffet breakfast was excellent and the room service cost a bit extra but quality of food excellent Friendly staff and ample parking for self drive guests Throughly enjoyed the stay.
