The king bedroom bed was improperly built and when my fiance sat on the bed the right side collapsed and him and his bottled water fell to the floor. He was able to properly install the bed slats and clips otherwise we would have had to sleep in the double beds room on the second floor without adequate a/c.The single queen adjustable bed was soiled (stained) broken and had a foul odor to it.The single twin bedroom had a mattress that was a pop up cot - we didn’t use it for sleeping but checked it out for getting dressed. The a/c didn’t work in this room either. There was a ceiling fan but it was LOUD. The a:c on the first floor of the house was not fully operational. The temperature went up as high as 79 no matter how hard we tried to adjust it. There was a trash can outside that was not only full, it was spilled over, lid open, trash on the ground and bags around the can. We were unable to put out the little trash we accumulated. Broken toilet paper holders, incorrect sized toilet seats, dirt and dust and dirty walls throughout. No mattress liners or protectors beneath the sheets that keep the mattresses clean and sanitary. They definitely did their best to be hospitable. Coffee, tea, kitchen staples, toiletries, decent bath linens, etc. I was busy with my final wedding preparations and at that point it was too late to change lodging. My wedding venue was in Hamilton. If they fix things it has the potential to be a 5 Star stay!
