A stylish, ground-floor apartment, set on the hillside with stunning views over Lake Como. This luxurious complex has 20 apartments sharing extensive gardens, a swimming pool and a tennis court.

This beautiful, 2-bedroom apartment sleeps up to 4 people. It has been tastefully decorated throughout. The open-plan living area is furnished with a sofa, flat-screen TV, dining table and a fitted kitchen, which is separated from the main room by a breakfast bar. In the kitchen, you will find an induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, coffee maker and washing machine. An archway from the living room leads to the bedrooms and bathroom.

The sheltered terrace, which is reached via wooden doors from the sitting room, is a highlight of the apartment. It is furnished with a beautiful set of a cane sofa and armchairs; sun loungers; a hanging seat and a wrought iron table and chairs for meals al fresco. It enjoys spectacular views of the lake and provides a relaxing environment where guests can read or just enjoy the peace.

The landscaped gardens include a beautiful swimming pool and a hard tennis court.

Location
The complex is in a quiet, residential area of Bonzanigo just a 10-minute walk from Lake Como. The residence is close to the charming lake-side town of Azzano (8-minute walk). Here visitors will find a wide range of excellent restaurants and cafés. There is a regular ferry service between Azzano and Como as well as several other towns around the lake.

For self-catering, Azzano’s weekly market (Monday) is an excellent source of the best local produce. There are also supermarkets and other delicatessens nearby.

There are many beautiful palaces, villas and gardens to visit nearby including the famous Villa Carlotta (5 minute drive). If you are looking for more excitement then head to Lake Como Adventures (7 minutes drive) for a wide range of activities including climbing, canonying, hiking and skiing in the winter months.

Milan’s international Linate airport is a 1 hour and 41 minute drive from the apartment and Milan Malpensa airport 1 hour and 25 minutes away. Please note that the pool is open from the 1st of June 2025 to the 30th of September 2025

Nice apartment. Shame about strict pool rules which need to be advertised before booking

Nice apartment and beautifully kept grounds. Amazing view over Lake Como. Random crockery and glassware, much of which was dirty, probably due to the dishwasher not cleaning well and random items in drawers and cupboards (presumably the owners), therefore little space to unpack and the feeling you were staying at someone’s house rather than a holiday let. However our main issue was that we booked this apartment because of the pool and to relax for a few days after driving through Europe. A week before arrival (having left the U.K. and too late to cancel the booking) we were sent strict rules about the pool. Only one sun lounger per apartment, kids were not allowed to play with pool toys and caps mandatory (although this is common in Italy). The rules were strictly enforced by the property manager and as a family of 5 having one sun lounger to use and sunbathe on, despite the majority of loungers being empty seemed ridiculous. Each one is numbered and had its place around the pool. Even bringing our own chair to the pool caused a telling off. Whilst the location was beautiful and whilst exploring the area we had a great time, the pool issue ruined the stay for us. This needs careful consideration before booking if there is more than one of you staying in the apartment and you want to relax by the pool.

The place is beautiful, but there are too many rules on pool usage which made it difficult for the kids to have fun.
