Magical Woodsy Glamping minutes from Stone Mountain, NC

Also, we do not currently provide firewood**Camp in style with all the comforts of home! With a queen bed, a futon sofa, fire pit, hot water, AC/dehumidifier, heat, shower, outdoor kitchenette, and outdoor movie night projector, there's not much left to be desired! The tent and lounge areas are protected from precipitation by a roof. Bring your furry friends for no extra charge, and come reconnect with nature in the woods just 4 minutes from Stone Mountain State Park and a half hour from over two-dozen wineries!The tent sits on a two-tiered deck and offers the comforts of home in an outdoor setting. Guests are provided with linens and towels, heat and air conditioning, propane grill, cookware, and a large cooler where groceries can be stored. A futon sofa provides a sleeping area for a third guest. With all of these features, it can be easy to forget that this experience is still fundamentally camping. Therefore, we do ask guests to properly secure food and waste items from wildlife that are very active throughout the area including black bear, coyotes, and bobcats. It is rare that any of our wild friends care to interact with humans, but it's better to be safe. Additionally, 4x4 or AWD vehicles are recommend for parking close to the camp site due to loose gravel and a grade, but alternative parking spots are available.The campsite is typically open year-round, but weather conditions are subject to requiring the water be shut off to the sink, shower, and toilet. This is only during winter months when temperatures are likely to cause our water lines to freeze and potentially burst. Water is still accessible at the campsite via a hydrant, however water will be turned off to the fixtures if temperatures dip below freezing.There are two log cabins nearby with the campsite less than 5 minutes from the entrance to Stone Mountain State Park. Guests are welcome to explore the property, but we ask all guests to be respectful of each other. Pets must be leashed when outside. This is for their safety, the safety of the wildlife, and that of other guest's pets.We do not live on-site but we are able to respond to messages or requests fairly quickly. The accommodation is air-conditioned and features a kitchenette, 1.5 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. The accommodation also includes a coffee maker.
