We drove 7 hrs to stay at this place. One of the reasons we picked it was due to the reviews that said how nice it was and clean. Upon arrival we stepped out to dog poop...which we thought there were no pets aloud. When entering the house we found ants, hair all over king size bed, and so much hair behind and on side of bed you couldnt see the carpet in spots, the hair was going up the wall behind and on side of bed 4ft up. The ceiling fans you couldnt turn on do to the amount of grime on them. I contacted owner and sent pics and we did get a full refund, and owner was quick to respond. Unfortunate that the one vacation we get a year had to be canceled due to the conditions of this house. Had it been clean it would have been a wonderful property to stay at. We have been using VRBO for 10 years, and have never encountered this before.

Great family vacation at a wonderful cabin. Right on the water. Pike caught from off the dock. Enjoyed the paddle boat. Great bbq and fire pit.Cozy and homely and enjoyed battleships.Thanks for great communication and help where needed. Loads of local things to do as well as just great place to hang out

Beautiful fall getaway.

What a lovely place for a family getaway! Located near the beautiful area surrounding lake vermilion. this lakeside cabin was the ideal spot for us to spend a long weekend with our two girls. We spent 3 days of hiking, visiting the international Wolf center, and just enjoying the small towns in the area. We had s'mores by the fire pit and enjoyed the gorgeous view from the deck of this lovely cabin. Our host responded immediately to any questions we had, and gave us tips on the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to go visit northern Minnesota.

Quaint cabin

Very clean and nicely kept cabin. Owners were quick to respond to any questions. Took us a minute to figure out the air conditioners but once we did they cooled it off very nicely. The 8 of us were comfortable.

Fishing Getaway

This was the second time staying at this property and we enjoyed it very much. It is very close to gas, bait, and boat landing. It is a very quiet and peaceful place and we would definitely come back.

Beautiful cabin

Every year my family rents a cabin someplace up north. We love visitng the lake vermilion area and this cabin was perfect for us. We enjoyed the beautiful view and very nice accommodations. We brought paddle boards and the kids loved swimming at McKinley beach nearby. Wonderful time!

Lake Vermilion cabin

Cabin was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi was excellent. We were able to do easily do video-conferences for work. The owner was very responsive when an issue arose with the hot water tank and he immediately fixed it. I would definitely recommend the cabin to others.

Great Vacation

Property was exactly as advertised! Very clean and had everything we needed!! We caught small mouth, pike and walleyes from the dock using slip bobber and minnows. Being close to the store was very nice but also came with a little road noise but didn’t affect our stay at all! We plan on rebooking again next summer!
