Tiny fairly grotty but very quiet room. Superb hospitality from M Abdelrahman in Reception makes up for any failings. Very convenient for the railway station. Restaurants close by within walking distance.

Very good location, huge room, bathroom and bed. Good breakfast with surprising fresh orange jouce. Coffe and tea avalilable 24h in the hall. Excellent reception service. Charger for various phones at the reception!

Room 41, for a five floor walk-up. There is a small elevator which barely fits two adults and two suitcases. To get to the room, we had to leave the hallway and walk outside in an inner courtyard, then back inside to the hallway to our room. The walkway in the courtyard was covered. Our window looked over this courtyard. Room was large but sparsely furnished. Bed, small desk, two small end tables, and a small table that fit over the bed if you wanted to eat in bed. No couch or comfortable chairs. Wide screen T.V with usual French channels plus BBC and CNCB. Toilet room separate from shower and sink room. Each with a full wood door so it had some privacy. Ground floor had the breakfast nook with the usual French Hotel breakfast. Filled on the weekend. There is also a play area for kids. There is a restaurant/cafe just across the street which served all meals. Location is why we picked this hotel as we arrived by train to the only train station in Toulouse. Walk out the main doors to the station and you see the hotel across the street and the canal. There is a IBIS on the corner with a red sign. The IBIS Styles (green sign) is to the left, next to the Subway Sub shop. There are car rentals at the train station. Looking up the side street near the hotel and you see a larger square. Plenty of restaurants there as well as a Monoprix store. Five minute walk. Another five minutes in the same direction brings you to Wilson Square, shops, restaurants, and the start of the old Toulouse area. Since it is a university town there are plenty of young people around, plenty of loungers on the street near the hotel but we had no issues.

The Hotel was very comfy. All of the Staff deserve a 10. The night receptionist(Carlos) was very understanding and patient. Good and healthy continental breakfast with loads of fruit, cereal, yoghurt and local organic products. The location just across the trainstation and 10 minutes walk from the centre was more than perect too.

This is a budget hotel. You must know this when you're booking it. So I'm not going to rate it from the vantage point of a 5-Star hotel. I'm going to consider it from the correct starting point. For me, it was an excellent budget hotel. I had low expectations coming in - so I was pleasantly surprised. The airport bus brings you right to the hotel. WIFI was great. The location is good for walking around & seeing the sites. Many reviews mentioned small rooms. Both of ours (214 & 215) were quite large & very comfortable. And they were exceptionally clean. We had a good night's sleep. The hotel has quite a quirky layout, very non-standard which we enjoyed. Breakfast was a nice extra - and for us, sufficient. The towels were quite thin. I would suggest bringing your own toiletries and the lift is a joke (really tiny & a little scary - & there's only one so there can be a long wait) - but hey - it's a period property. The hotel adds lots of nice extra touches though that I found quite sweet. There's a riddle on your pillow when you arrive which if you solve, you get a "petit cadeau" (little gift) from reception. Water & some sweets are also provided complimentary & refreshed. And the staff were lovely. I wish I could remember the name of the gentlemen who greeted us on reception & answered our questions during our stay. His English was exceptional & nothing was too much. What a star! I had a great time & I would stay here again without hesitation. For the price honestly you can't expect a 5-Star level experience, but it is one of the best budget hotels I have ever stayed at.

The hotel is a basic ibis, no frills. I had a single room but even then room was tiny with barely room to move about. Furnishing and toiletries were basic. Breakfast was basic continental breakfast, ok but putting espresso machine in middle of food area created traffic jam in small area. Reception staff was friendly.

We chose this for an overnight stay convenient to the railway station. The bus from the airport stops immediately opposite. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was quite basic and dark. It would not really be suitable for a long stay. Breakfast was good and included in the room price. If we were going again, we might choose the 'Ibis' immediately next door.

The Ibis Styles Toulouse Centre Gare is very well located - across the canal from the gare. It is only 20~30 minute walk to most of the sites to visit in Toulouse. The hotel is relatively recently renovated but it is fresh decor in an old building. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and the included buffet style breakfast is sufficient if not exciting. Car parking is relatively easily available on the surrounding streets (payant) or in a parking station at the gare (expensive). If you park on the opposite side of the canal south of the Gare, the parking is free. (3 minute walk)

It was really a great experience at this hotel. The room was spacious. We travelled with a pushchair. Unfortunately the lift was small and it was very difficult for us to place it inside. I would suggest that the hotel closes off the courtyard, even with something transparent as for those living in the first floor have to go out in the cold or possibly even in the rain. I don't want that these two point impact the overall rating of our stay. It was really great experience as both us the children enjoyed the stay in the hotel. Even the breakfast it was value for money.

Rhe visit was for Christmas shopping in the renowned Toulouse Christmas Market. We travelled by train. The hotel is opposite the Railway station - a 15 minute walk from La Capitole, where the market was - so hardly 'centre ville'., but with easy , mostly step-free access using the Métro But our first use of Ibis Styles was a happy one, a refreshing change from the standard Ibis.
