The surroundings of Villa Rimini 

Tossa de Mar is a nice and welcoming fishing village on the Costa Brava and the Mediterranean Sea. At Tossa de Mar, there is the fortress of Vila Vella with its narrow streets and stairs which have been kept intact. In this fairy-tale castle you can find many excellent restaurants and many shops. The beautiful nature and friendly people make this place a great destination. Tossa de Mar has 3 beautiful beaches, Platja Gran, Platja del Mar Menuda and enclosed by high walls you can find El Codolar. This is a smaller beach that is popular among boaters. The sandy beach of Canyelles can be found a few kilometres away from Tossa de Mar, this lovely beach seems to have been carved out of the rocks. You will enjoy this wonderful bay with a great restaurant, a beach and a small harbour. Do you and the children want an unforgettable day? Lloret de Mar has a sensational water park with the most exhilarating slides. Nonetheless the area is also great for nature lovers; the best way to enjoy Lloret de Mar are by following one of the several hiking trails along the coastline, or the trails that go into the forest, they reveal every secret of the Mediterranean’s flora and fauna to their visitors. The city of Girona is also well worth a visit, the so-called "Ciudad de los Cuatro Ríos" (City of the Four Rivers) has a historic centre that consists largely of medieval buildings with Roman, Arabic and Jewish traces. The excellent location between the Pyrenees and the Costa Brava, offers many options for excursions. Wherever you go, you always have the opportunity to enjoy the regional cuisine, consisting of dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients from both the sea and the mountains!
