Decent Hotel

Close to subway and restaurants. This is a very old home but there is plenty of info letting you know this. My room had its own heat pump so I could easily control temp. There are only stairs so you will need to carry suitcase up/down. The staff are pleasant

Convenient to the Village, in a beautiful, historical building. The front gardens are peaceful and lovely. Walking distance to many conveniences. Security measures are taken for entry including security cams and double entry doors with keypad and keys, however the front desk becomes vacant from 6pm until 10am. The room has amenities including fridge, microwave, dishes, coffee machine and a hairdryer, however the outlets are in poor condition with many looking like they have overheated or burned in the past.

Loved the garden and ease of check in. Great location! It's an old house, I get that, but weird looking bugs (not bed bugs), a centipede looking thing. Tried to kill it discovered a bu trap and a lot of dust, hair in corners and under the bed. Weird guy around the property at crazy hours. I'm sure the other rooms may have been nicer, mine was in an attic type room so the ceiling was slanted. It was meh. Cool area, would make bank if they cleaned up, upgraded and updated.

Needed a decent, decently priced one night stay in downtown Toronto. Having flown from Europe, I overnighted to then take the train down to Windsor/Detroit, the next day. This place did it. Simple, clean, safe, great location near Yonge St for eat options.. the Eastern European lady with glasses at the front desk was very helpful and nice.. I would recommend and stay again…

a vent that we were not using (ac was over the bed), leaked, water? into my luggage, wet my clothes, destroyed a book (over 30$), all I got was a sorry. They don't care. Someone had left some substance, hand cream on a cloth at the bottom of the bed. They wiped away the substance, but it left a fatty stain. They didn't remove it, or wash it. Never stay there again. Period.

Very nice stay at Victoria's Mansion in the middle of downtown. The area is vibrant and full of restaurants, shops, and attractions. The house is beautiful and of historic value. The rooms are medium-sized, well equipped with all that's needed. The owners are very quick to respond to the phone and make arrangements for late arrival, parking, etc. Everything went smoothly. Good stay in a great location.
