Nice property. Staff was nice at all times. The only down is they don't have microwaves in the rooms.

Good location, valet parking, pleasant professional staff, good little coffee shop.

Very conveniently located. Friendly staff and kinda funky rooms.

Clean and large room. Good location for shopping and eating.

great location, very friendly staff, rooms are unique and cool

The hotel and the rooms are both really cute and well decorated. There's a lot of attention to detail and little things that make the room really pleasant to stay in (such as light switches that control all of the different light individually, interesting art books, etc). Everyone is incredibly friendly and attentive if you need anything. I mostly just appreciated that the rooms are very nice, without being the sort of bland, niceness that most hotels have. It has character! There were also some little things that were kind of annoying. If you're walking to the hotel from the

Staff were absolutely fantastic! Our room was available for early check in, which helped a great deal after driving through a storm to get there. Staff made great recommendations for local food and drink spots which were also amazing. The room was very comfortable and inviting. Will absolutely stay again

Charging extra money from my debit card & they don’t won’t give me receipt when I checked out they told me we will email u

Cozy hotel. Room was small but nice. A bit noisy. No ice on floors, had to call front desk anytime we wanted ice. Friendly staff. Good coffee. Ok location.

Very cool boutique hotel. Interesting aesthetic - they went for an upscale retro vibe and pulled it off well. I would come back

Beautifully decorated room with a very comfortable bed. Steps from the subway made it easy to travel to all of our events over the weekend. I'd stay here again in an instant.

This was a disappointing stay. The property was clean, very well decorated, in a great location, and with a large room. But, the service was shockingly bad given that it is billed as an upscale hotel. We had dirty plates brought to the room with plastic cutlery. When asked if we could have actual cutlery we were told they were a hotel not a restaurant, even though there is indeed a restaurant in the lobby. The record player in the room is cute and great for instagram, but it didnt work. Neither did the app that was supposed to control the lights and heat in the room. On check out, they were very understaffed and curt. Not terribly welcoming. Pretty building, bad service.

The location is pretty OK. Not the best surroundings but it seems like a neighborhood on the verge of an upswing. Steps to Yonge Street and 3 minute walk to Bloor Street so lots of everything very close. The entrance from the outside was not terribly impressive as it fronts pretty much right onto Charles so drop off was tricky. We ended up parking across the street in The Brass Rail parking lot (oldest strip club in Toronto - didn't check it out). Once inside there is not a terribly impressive or spacious foyer but that isn't really why I stay in a hotel anyways. Check-in was done at an island standing beside the receptionist so that was pleasantly different. The restaurant / bar was right beside the reception so that was convenient. The room was smaller than we expected but nice just the same. It was decorated in a funky retro style with cool exposed light bulbs and there was a record player with some sample records and an open closet. It had a different vibe than a traditional hotel and I liked it. There was no ice machine on any floors so you had to dial reception and they would bring a full ice bucket up to the room for you but they were pleased to do it. The ironing board provided in the room was a mini board so that was not really great, and there was no coffee maker so that wasn't great either. However, the biggest problem was a rattling pipe above the room that would go on an off throughout the entire night. We had to get a different room at 4 am.

What a wonderful getaway we enjoyed in Toronto... stayed at the Anndore House. The staff were beyond courteous, the rooms were beautiful and clean, and we walked everywhere. Enjoyed our chef-side dinner at their restaurant and a nightcap in the bar. It's our new "place to stay" when we visit the city for sure.
