at around 9pm, someone claiming to be a police officer, was pounding on our door. It most certainly started and frightened my wife and I. Before opening I called the front desk to see what was going on, she responded she saw two policemen go by the desk and suggested I open the door. I then went and opened the door and they were no longer there. I subsequently called division 22 and asked if a policeman had been dispatched to 5515 Eglinton W and learned no officer had been dispatched to the address. A frightful experience with lack of security.

Very nice hotel. Staff was very friendly, room and facilities were very clean. Breakfast was good with a lot of options. Parking got a bit tricky at night as there weren't many spots, but it was a Saturday night and a neighboring hotel appeared to be hosting an event.

The room was a great size for what we needed BUT we did have some issues! There was only 1 garbage pail in the whole room, bathroom, kitchen, living room??? We asked for another and they told us they don’t have any?? Our hot water was Luke warm at the most for 9 out of our 11 days. We told the front desk and they told us to let it run first. When they came in to repair it on Day 9 they were an hour and a half and they fixed it (or so we thought) they also fixed the drain as we were standing in a pool of water all the time. By day 11 we were back to the same as before with only Luke warm showers??? I told the front desk on check out but they weren’t terribly concerned.
