Everything was average or slightly better, except for the “hot” breakfast. Nothing in the warming pans was, in fact, warm at all. The premade English muffins with egg and sausage were not at all fresh, but cold and stale. The “Belgian waffles”, also precooked, were in a warming pan that was cold and the waffles were not fresh but chewy, stale and tasteless. I stayed two days and the “hot” food was the same on both mornings and was neither hot nor fresh. Very disappointing. I expect better from Marriott related hotels.

Staff was wonderful and very friendly. I booked a King room and got 2 Queens instead, which was disappointing. The hotel has a wonderful view and is conveniently located, but it is also old and run down. The bathroom was dingy.

My family and I came for a quick visit and ended up having to extend our stay for about a week waiting for I29 to be opened past St. Jo, MO during the christmas season of 25. I cannot remember her name but the ladies who manage the front desk were very wonderful. Our rooms were fresh and clean and all the staff would greet us as we walked through to leave. The customer service was 5 star every interaction and we had many from my needing to extend to looking for places to eat and they even were able to guide me to find dinner, whether the stores were open or not and they checked on us when we would leave to see family. Our room, my bed, the breakfasts, the hot cocoa and candy canes....this was only my 2nd stay in your chain and I love it. Thank you so much to Lawrence ks Springhill Suites. It felt like staying with family.
