Excellent Spot

Very friendly staff and excellent location near train station. There were also plenty of places for food and supplies. A great place to stay for recovery from the trip over to HND from th states. Quite good for the value as well considering the price.

Relax and nice area

Travelling alone. Hotel is quite near to the Gotanda station. Donki is just behind the hotel but not a big one. Some food to dine or take away around but not much shopping unlike those in Shinjuku area.

This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for an affordable and convenient place. We are a family of 3 and we had a great amount of space in the room. We also love that we had other amenities such as a washer dryer in our room and a mini kitchen.

We didn't walk around the area much or do much there but picked out location based on price and proximity to the JY line. We were completely happy with walking 1 block to catch the major railway to the places we wanted to visit. Felt like if we bought a lot of stuff in the touristy locations we could just hop back on the JY and drop stuff back at hotel with very little effort. The hotel was awesome and we would stay there again

Gotanda is probably not a popular choice for tourists but we liked the quiet surroundings and good food options available nearby as a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Our room was a tad bit tight but good enough. The room keys needed to be reset a few times which was a hassle. However, staff are helpful and nice. Having a washing machine in our room is a real game changer especially when staying for weeks in Japan. I will probably always opt to stay in Tokyu Stay because of this.

The staff were very friendly, and the property was clean, and quiet. It was also in a very convenient place to transit to and from. Having an in suite washing machine was also nice.
