Lobby and wedding area is absolutely adorable. Rooms are very old , no Airconditioning ( or very old and low ) extremely hot. Was only cool place is inside the elevators:( . We came two hours earlier and they won’t let us to the room, so we had to waste 2 hours. people extremely nice. Food at the buffet is ok. Nothing fancy. Next time will try Hilton near by, hope it is more updated .
Please stay away from this hotel if you don't speak Japanese. I'm writing this review from inside the hotel room because I was so frustrated. Our families were so excited for this trip and this hotel had ruined for us. We couldn't wait to check out. The staffs don't speak English and they weren't even trying to help you or understand you. I understand we were in Japan but this hotel is near a famous attraction such as Disneyland so I guess I was expected a little more from it. Let me tell you about our experience here: Pros: - The bell desk staffs were super friendly - Room had beautiful ocean view But that was it ... Cons: - They charged us an additional $100 per day for our 10 years old son to share the room with us. And the room was the same size. They just added another bed. It was cheaper to book another room on Agoda for him but we couldn't let him stay alone by himself. - Hotel was dated. Hallways and room smelled muddy. - We couldn't even call the front desk from our room because the phone only had Japanese (no English). Had to come downstairs to ask them. - Couldn't watch TV either. Again no English instruction. - Communication with front desk was the worst. They couldn't understand English and didn't even tried. We were trying to get some instructions to use the bathroom but no one could explain to us. We were so frustrated and ended the call. - Stay away from the buffet. They charged $50 per person but food was cold and they wouldn't bring out new food. Our experience here was horrible. We went to Tokyo Bay Tokyu Hotel before and staffs there were super friendly and spoke perfect English. They even helped us eventhough we didn't stay there.
Needed a hotel for Disneyland and this very much fit the bill. It was a 5 minute walk to the monorail. There was a free shuttle to Disneyland and Downtown Disney. My wife had knee issues and they gave her a bag of ice every night. On our last day we booked our bus to the airport through the hotel and they stored our bags while waiting so we could explore Downtown Disney. Super friendly staff and a great experience with a wonderful view of the park from our room. I’d stay there again.
This hotel is huge! Giant atrium where everything centres around. Facilities were fine but we faced a few problems. 1) we are a married couple and ordered double bed and were given twin beds despite my booking as we are both female; 2) my partner is vegetarian and there was very little she could eat of a savoury nature in the hotel; 3) dinners and breakfast all buffet style so did not suit our small appetite and with big expense; 4) room very threadbare, old fashioned and in need of refresh and really not of standard for a hotel of this price range; 5) and worst of all, the bed was the hardest bed we have ever slept on. Some have said this is Japanese style but none of the other hotels on this trip had a bed so very hard. We had to sleep on top of a doubled-up quilt otherwise we couldn’t sleep! however, 1) was perfect location for visiting parks 2) the free shuttle bus to Bayside monorail station for easy access to the parks was awesome and used many times. Very cool also that it is a Mickey bus; 3) amenities & toiletries were good quality. You need to know that this is a Japanese facing hotel-so much of the information is in Japanese so you can’t even work out about meals, shuttles or hotel facilities on offer. We found staff to be friendly but distant and conversing past ‘konichiwa’ went nowhere. Would I recommend? Hmmm. Location and shuttle bus are perfect but room is less than average; when going to parks all day you don’t spend time in the room but there must be other options. If you are Japanese your experience in this hotel would be better than mine.
This hotel-resort has free shuttle to and from JR Maihama Station and also Disneyland shuttle from and to Bayside Station of the Tokyo Disney Resort Monorail. It offers buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner and night dinner (9:30pm to 11:30pm for those arriving late night from Disney or from the airport). Also, it has direct airport limousine bus services to and from both Haneda and Narita International Airports.
This is my personal opinion and experience, based on a vaste experience in 4 and 5 star hotels all around the world. Booked here in april 2019 4 nights using booking 2 ad 1 child, with bfast, child under 6yo free if no need bed. Upon my arrival i had to take a ticket to park my car, well no problem maybe as guest, reception will give me voucher or validate it. NO you have to pay 3,300 yen (33usd) everytime you exit by parking, it mean if in 1 day u go out 3 times you pay 99 usd!!!! Not done, the morning after we go for bfast, they ask me to pay 14 usd for child?! when i ask explanation, NOBODY speak english they just gesture you to cashier, pay or no enter!!! I paid to let accomodte my wife and child, but then i go back to cashier to "fight" for my rights showing booking on my mobile where says children under 6yo free, after 15 MINS, 1 man who seems understand VERY little english, give back my money and we finally enter. Very stressfull, especially a 4yo child which eat 1 croissant and 1 cup of milk 14 usd?!? seriously? Beggar! NOBODY in the whole hotel speak a decent english, everything must be done by gesture and google translator, which is really bad for a 4 or 5 star hotel which on them website has english as language! BTW this is sadly common in Japan almost nobody speak english which is weird to me cause Japan is an amazing wonderful spectacular country which deserve and MUST be visited and possibly lived for months! Now the bfast buffet, the average level of food is really LOW, which again is bad for a 4/5 star hotel where you pay over 200usd/night + 33 for parking + 34usd x adult bfast!!! Now the staff, normal workers with no special charge or power are very pleasant, gentle and kind, but all the man (only man has charge) has a higher figure look arrogant, never smile, look straigt to your eyes without even half sec of smile or welcome feelings, seems you bother them, i felt really unwelcome and uncomfortable, and this just because i dont speak japaneese, indeed they smile and beg to all other japaneese guests beside me. This hotel is only for japaneese is my ending opinion. Rooms: not bad, but again poor for a 4/5 star hotel, the mattress is too hard, the pillow are very small, room is clean, bathroom has bathtube, and toto with washlet, but room and bath a bit too small. Again for the same or cheaper money i staid in hotel FAR AWAY better than this! Totally disappointed. Never again! My overall stay at this hotel? Terrible !
From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left we loved every minute in this hotel. Amazing staff, very clean and comfortable, great variety for breakfast. Views over the water were great. Room was a great decent size - however would have preferred to be able to get a queen or king size bed rather then large single beds. Bathroom had bath, shower seperate and seperate toilet. Convenient location especially to Disneyland. Local shopping centre was good. Lots of food outlets and restaurants - both western and modern Japanese. Transport was readily available with easy access to train station by either 20minute walk, short free shuttle to and from the hotel, or monorail just a few minutes walk away, but they also have free shuttle from hotel to the nearby monorail station.
We got a bayside room and the view is amazing. The beds are comfortable. The food served in Atrium (restaurant) is delicious. Hotel staff are very helpful. In addition, there is a convenience store in the third floor so you can easily buy snacks but it closes at 23:00.
We stayed on level 11 with complete unobstructed views out to the harbour. Unlike the Hilton which has no balconies, this hotel offered a generous sized balcony and lovely views while showering. The bathroom offered a tub which had shower tap including a separate shower. The toilet was located separately to the bathroom. The room size was similar to Australian standard room sizes, not your typical Japanese style room size. Easy access to the Bayside Disney station or you can catch the courtesy bus to and from the station. There is also a courtesy bus to take you back to the Maihama train line. The only gripe I have is the staff there are not good with English. I assumed being a resort style accommodation, there would be someone at the counter who is good with English, so thanks to Google translate we managed to work through things with the staff. Overall a lovely experience and stay.
We book double room and we found all the amenities are enough for 4 people. Nice hotel for families. They even provide slipper and toothbrush for kid. Shuttle bus every 1/2 hour from maihama station to hotel back & forth. To get the bus , go down from maihama station and look for taxi stand. The buses for resort hotel wait there.
