This was a very convenient stay. Rooms were spacious and clean. They provided kid-size amenities such as slippers and tooth brush for my little kid. They also had laundry on the floor we stayed, with microwave and vending/ice machine next to dryer and washer. The price was reasonable. The hotel was not new but very well maintained. Location was superb, accross Shinagawa station that has Shinkansen. Exit from Takanawa exit, cross the road at the traffic light on the left. Then turn right, then left. Direct to Shinagawa Goos building. There was TGIF at the same building with good food. I will certainly be back to this hotel if I visit Tokyo again.

This hotel is very well located, just across the street from Shinagawa Station, perfect if you take the Narita Express from/to the airport. The hotel has several restaurants and bars on site, very convenient if you are super tired from your trip and wish take it easy on your first or last night in Tokyo, but the rooms are really outdated, clean but old and lacking features such as plenty of electrical outlets to charge your devices. I guess nothing beats location but I am sure there are a couple of nerby hotels with newer, more comfortable rooms

Despite booking over 6 months ago and requesting a non smoking, I was allocated a smoking room. I asked the hotel if I can change to a non smoking room and they said no the hotel is completely booked out. The room of course stinks. It is unbearable for someone who is a non smoker. I have previously used this hotel with large school groups I have brought from Australia but never again. It’s also ironic that you can’t shower with the door open as you may way off alarm from steam but smoking in the room Is completely fine.

We stayed one night in Keikyu Ex Shinagawa as we needed somewhere near the train station. The location of this hotel was perfect. It is a 3 minute walk to the hotel. We booked 2 rooms for our family of 5 - this hotel does not have family rooms, only twin. The hotel rooms are spacious for Japanese standards. Our room came with a view of Shinagawa station. The bathroom had a bathtub, and amenities included slippers and a yukata kimono. The hotel has a good coin laundry with dryer that was great for us. Laundry price was also good. Just about Y600 for wash and dry, full load. So we were able to fly home with laundry all done. We took the NEX from Shinagawa to Narita. The station is one of the main nodes, we could get to Shinjuku, Tsukiji market without problems. There are 2 lines - JR and Keikyu, very convenient. The hotel is also near malls, a supermarket and connected to Goos. So food wasn't a problem. On the morning of departure, we were able to check out and keep our luggage at front office while we explored Tsukiji market in the morning (Keikyu line 5 stops)) and Shiodome (JR line 3 stops to Shinagawa), before heading back to the hotel for our luggage and the train ride on the NEX to Narita.

This hotel is so close to the station, 2 minutes away so it is easy to get to and from it. Easy check in the staff are friendly. The rooms are fine, bigger than average for Japan but a little more expensive - but it is worth it. The rooms are very clean and the en suite is on the larger size too. Breakfasts are good but be aware that it can get busy at times there. There is plenty to do inside and outside the hotel, restaurants galore. I will stay here again

Room was great size - much bigger than I expected for price compared to some other places we stayed in. Had seating area and good size fridge in room. Excellent common facilities including ice machine, washing machine, drier, iron, ironing board, microwave (we used floor 24 facilities) which was great for us as we needed after a weeek and half of travel. Loved location, easy walk from bullet train station and express train to Hanida airport leaves from Shinagawa Station too (we dropped out parents at airport before our second leg of Japan holiday) Good Raman restaurants just outside station (Shinagawa Raman street). Lovely staff with 24 hour information desk to help us with luggage forward service (so we didn’t need to take luggage on our 3 day hike). It was just a night stopover for us but I would have liked to stay longer to explore area and would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Good sized room, clean and very good service. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very close to the station at Shinagawa. Lots of restaurants nearby and in the hotel. Great bar downstairs. Good convenience store as well. Would recommend.

Stayed one night at the beginning and one night at the end of the Japan trip in a single room. Hotel is located few mins walk from the train station, and Shinagawa being one of the main stations where many lines go through, it is a convenient location to be at. Hotel is above a mall which we never had the time to walk in. You can see the hotel across the street once you exit from the train station. Pluses: Single room was fairly spacious, able to open up a mid size luggage and have lots of space to walk around. Bathroom was compact and had all the essentials - shampoo, bath soap, conditioner, think they might have had a facial wash too. Comes with a compact bathtub too. Had a little pot to boil water and turns off automatically. Had plushy bedroom slippers too Storage of luggage at the concierge so we don’t have to drag it to the room. Convenient express bus stop to Narita Airport. Minuses: Can’t think of any. Didn’t ask for room service Nor try their breakfast so no comments on that.

Really great hotel with lots of choices for restaurants and also am convenience store. It is located very close to the shinagawa train station. Just be careful as there is another ex inn hotel very close by! This one is right at the TGI Fridays inside the building which has a gigantic GOOS sign on the outside. Rooms were clean and had an ok size. They even had a massage chair. Good choice if you want to stay close to the train station.

Have stayed in many hotels in Tokyo, the single room here is the biggest ever stayed in. And the price is very reasonable too! Excellent location being near to Shinagawa station and nice breakfast. Will definitely return.
