Great amenities in the room — the shower and jacuzzi were very nice with ridiculously high water pressure. The room was fairly spacious for Tokyo. The front desk was very discreet for those you need that. The surrounding area is a little grungy at night, but it is a love hotel. I would come back for a couple nights, given the price. The novelty makes it unique.

Don’t let the “love hotel” label deter you—J-Mex Hotel in Tokyo is a surprisingly great stay, especially for the value. The location is excellent, with easy access to transit, restaurants, and nightlife. The rooms are also much more spacious than typical Tokyo accommodations, which makes a big difference after a long day of exploring. What really stood out, though, was the cleanliness. The room was spotless—everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and carefully looked after. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work, and it shows in every detail. On top of that, the hotel offers a wide range of amenities you don’t often see at this price point, (we had a sauna and karaoke in our room), adding even more comfort and convenience to the stay. Overall, J-Mex delivers exceptional value with space, location, and top-tier cleanliness. A very worthwhile option while in Tokyo.

Got the recommendation for this hotel on chat GPT and it exceeded our expectations. We arrived on an early flight and although we’re unable to check in early staff were very happy to look after our luggage. The room was amazing and unique, it’s not huge but definitely enough. The private spa bath and steam room such an added bonus. Loved the location, very quiet and can walk everywhere. The beds are super firm .. I like this, others may not. No complaints from me would highly recommend :)

We were very suprised how much we loved our room at the J Mex hotel and Spa as we have never stayed in a hotel of this sort before. Our room was very clean and we absolutely loved our in room amenities including jacuzzi tub, mist sauna, and big screen TV. We will definitely be staying at the J Mex again. Very short walk to the very popular Godzilla Head, and everything surrounding it.
