My boyfriend and I stayed overnight here and we loved it! Very private with lots of great amenities! The view from our room was amazing, we would definitely stay again and recommend to others. We also visited Split Rock Lighthouse State Park and Gooseberry State Park. Spectacular experience in the cooler weather.

We had a short time after our wedding for a mini-honeymoon. We decided to stay at Bluefin Bay for its close proximity to Grand Marais and some of the best state parks in all of MN. It was a wonderful weekend.

This is my second time staying here and it's a great place to stay. Rooms are right on the lake and my unit had a nice wood-burning fireplace. Nice relaxing getaway. Restaurant is lame and overpriced though.

The room we stayed in was VERY nice...it's actually the honeymoon suite. The only surprise was the location...it wasn't with the group you see off of highway 61, it's actually across the little bay in a heavily wooded area and one of the upstairs rooms in a group of condos. Our deck faced the pool area, which wasn't to our taste...it should have been facing Lake Superior, as that's the whole reason for going there. The room was spotless! I've never been in such a clean room...the service people there should be commended. :) We ate at the grill located at the resort... in our opinion, the food was overpriced. Not saying it was bad, but I've had a lot better for less $$$. I think they know that they can charge more just for the fact that you don't want to have to drive somewhere to eat when you are at such a nice location. The fireworks were nice...actually impressive for small town. Overall, it was a nice stay.

We had a wonderful stay here. At first we got a room that didn't match the discription orbits gave but the staff was quick to fix this advertising mixup. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The view from this resort is AMAZING. Spent most of our stay cuddling in front of the fireplace and watching the waves. Very relaxing!! I realy didn't want to leave.
