We have just returned from a 4 night stay with a coach party and we were impressed with everything about the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff always went out of their way to chat with you. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast range was excellent with so much choice. The range of fresh breads was a particular favourite! The evening dinners for our tour were buffet and again we had no complaints. There was a choice of soup or salads to start and then a choice of main course and dessert. The food was plentiful and constantly restocked. This is a great hotel base and we would definitely look to return again. We have stayed at lots of different types of hotels during our travels and in the past have found that some hotel chains in particular can push tour groups into conference rooms to dine in and not be very helpful. This is definitely not the case with The NH. Some reviews have said that the rooms were cold. We did not experience this and actually slept with the window open! The hotel is not in the centre of town, however the train station is close by and there is a great shopping arcade just across the road with a variety of shops and large food counters and stores. We look forward to staying again!
This is basic. Staff is very friendly thanks to them. The room are dark. The heating is noisy. Bathroom are freezing. Not heating in the bathroom. Breakfast is average. I don't think I will come back.
A lovely, spacious hotel with a good breakfast and pleasant staff. Our room was absolutely freezing and a request for an extra duvet was ignored resulting on us having to sleep with clothes on and coats over the bed! No heating at all in the bathroom. Very disappointing
Only stayed one night before a meeting. There does not seems to be much around this hotel but I believe there is a little shopping centre across the road. My room actually looked out on the entrance to the metro station and I would highly recommend this as taxi from The Hague station was very expensive and a lot of traffic. Lovely welcome from reception but there was a wait even through there were two staff on duty. I had dinner in the hotel, it was excellent and reasonably priced though the service was a little hap hazard it did not detract from the stay. Nice room and one thing I was really happy about was the room was not too hot. The room was spacious with plenty of storage and a good walk in shower. Breakfast was outstanding, I choose to have it in my room as I worked and the selection brought to me was fabulous (enough food for three people). Just maybe ask for two coffees as the pot is small. I will be using this hotel again and would recommend it.
I stayed at the NH hotel for 18 days due to a long business trip I was on. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The rooms were comfortable, a bit on the small side, especially if you are there for more than a couple of days, but overall comfortable. The staff is AMAZING, very caring, attentive and respectful. BO and EZRA, the wait staff and bartenders made my stay even more enjoyable because of their kindness and great customer service and laughter. The hotel was in a great location, very close to the train and bus stations which made traveling quite easy! The Food was amazing, for 18 days I was never tired of the food due to an expansive menu! Overall great experience and I will be returning 100%. Yacine
staff went that extra mile especially on the front desk on arrival and on check out.hotel a bit out of the way.large common areas neat and tidy.good coffee and tea selection.very welcoming to our guests.
This was our first time visiting a NH Hotel. It's easy to find and close to the railway station, highway and City Center. We have paid a special rate including breakfast. First impressions, lovely reception and lounge and a friendly welcome. Room is clean and light. Modern and good layout. The bathroom is spacious. The only thing you have to watch out when taking a shower there is no shower curtain and the water will easy fill the bathroom floor. Don't take a room that is positioned under the Gym. The breakfast is really outstanding. An experience on its own. Nothing too much and a lot to choose from.
We stayed there 2 nights , the room was clean and big. The bed was quite big and quite comfortable also. The breakfast was quite nice, we had more than enough to stay without lunch. It is not in the city of Den Haag as tourist , but I can go to Den Haag easily by metro or the train in 15 minutes , and station is just 2 minutes walk, and in the evening it was quiet. What can be improved was that I did ask for room cleaning because I by accident spilled my drink in the bed. However nobody came in the end, which was a bit disappointing... In the end it was not bad because it was covered well under the pillow and we have quite a nice, big bed . However it can/should be improved.
Good business/conference style of hotel I arrived by bicycle and plenty of underground storage space in the car park for them. The room was comfortable as was the bed bathrooms are a little dated. All though located next to the station and main roads the hotel is surprisingly quiet with an excellent enclosed over pass near by which you can use to either walk to the town centre (half an hour) or even cycle through. Good breakfast.
This hotel is a great hotel for people wanting to tour around. It's proximity to the road network and tram and rail networks are first class. Across the road to the tram and rail station, across the other way to a shopping centre. A day ticket on the tram for €6.50 ensures you can visit places such as Delft, Den Haag and Sheviningen Beach. Good food in the bar at value for money prices, especially the ribs! We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly return.
