Awesome spot by Big Bend. Power got wiped out by a giant storm but it was restored within a few hours and the property managers were great with communication for that process. Really enjoyed my stay.

The place is a must if ever going to Big Bend. The cabin was well maintained and had all the supplies that you need for cooking/grilling. Like the isolation and if the skies are clear, great for star gazing. I will definitely book again.

This cabin is in an excellent location close to all the points of interest, yet removed from the city center. It was incredibly clean and well stocked. I arrived late night and would have gotten lost had my host not provided excellent directions and made sure I got there safely. The scenery and night sky at the cabin are breathtaking. In short, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Perfect stay for a meteor shower

We loved our stay and were pleased on how clean and cozy the cabin was. I loved the decor and the desert/mountain view. It was just perfect and was better than we expected for the affordable price. Would recommend

Nice cabin

This cabin is the perfect location when visiting Big Bend NP! 10 mins and you are at the entrance to the park. Very quiet location and the STARS!!!! Perfect size for 2 people. Easy check in/out.If you’re looking for dining options, we highly recommend Long Draw Pizza. We ate there 2 days in a row it was so good!

We've stayed here before and just love this place. There was a small problem with the fridge and the owner got on it immediately. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Everything was great. Slight issue with the cable TV going in and out but we were not there to watch TV so it was no big deal

Close to National Park

We stayed for a few nights while visiting the Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park. It is very close to the the entrance of the park. I was concerned about that because it is hard to tell by the map and everything in West Texas is so spread out. When they say a fully stocked kitchen they aren't lying! It had a blender, toaster, coffee maker, all utensils needed for eating, cooking, serving, etc. Everything we needed was here. Even bathroom amenities. Much like a hotel!There are neighbors but they are spread out. It's very quiet and private.The management company is great. We knew we wouldn't have access to email so we contacted them earlier in the week for check-in information. they responded within 5 minutes! That was unexpected and very appreciated.I will definitely stay here again when we return to the area. It was a great base with all the comforts of home.

Cabin 3 at Widows Peak is in a very nice location to visit Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park. The cabin was clean and the dark sky allows beautiful viewing of the stars. The cabin was stocked with all essential items needed. We hiked every day of our week stay and enjoyed eating dinners at Venga, the Starlight Theatre, Long Draw Pizza, and Taqueria El Milagros.
