Just coming to the end of our 10 day family holiday here (2 adults and a 2yo). Not the best hotel for your money but I'm sure there are worse. Main bug bears for me are (in no particular order) no air con in family room... what?? €30 odd to hire a fan for a week too; not overly expensive but when it just pushes hot air round the room you wonder what exactly the point is. Come on guys it's 2017; install air con!! If you're not all inclusive, you can only pay by card for drinks at the pool bar, no cash. Again, not the end of the world but very annoying as the bank will charge you on top for currency conversion on your statement. A €5 drink seems that less appealing... unless of course you put a minimum €50 credit on your room. No thanks! No fridge in family room... again why?? €80 to hire one for 10 days from an external company. What are families with babies/young children supposed to do when it comes to storing milk etc? Cockroaches in lower ground floor toilets also a delightful sight when you're already sat down, can't say I've peed quicker in my life than today (!) just to get the hell out of there! Now good points - rooms are cleaned well, albeit the odd long dark hair on the floor but we're not precious; those housekeepers work super hard and I know my home is plagued with my fall out from everyday living with a toddler so we'll let that one go. Staff are friendly and accommodating; always happy to help etc which is good; very apologetic about the toilet cockroaches when reported and got someone straight down there. Car hire is on site and very reasonable. We paid €39 for a Seat Ibiza S estate for a day, drove 100+ miles and forgot to fill up with fuel on the way home - not a problem and no extra charge. Result! No problem getting sun beds round the pool although I appreciate it's not high season right now. Can't say much about entertainment etc as we haven't watched any, nor have we eaten any food here other than breakfast. The all inclusive fare offered round the pool looks a bit anaemic but it's just self serve burgers chips and toasties from what we saw. Breakfast was ok - usual fare consisting of toast, cold meats & cheeses, cereal, salad, cooked breakfast items (including broccoli bizarrely?) and pastries. To upgrade our B&B status to all inclusive to access the food etc (which we did not do) would be an additional €20 pp per day, which for us at €60 just to eat a bit of lunch on site if we fancied is a bit pricey considering our whole party would be required to upgrade and not just 1 person. Local amenities are good, on site shop is expensive but there are local shops/supermarkets a short walk away. Best place for food is on playa de las vistas beachfront and into playa de las Americas; Hard Rock Cafe a favourite. Most places along los cristianos beach front serve typical half assed English fair which will keep most happy if this is your thing but for us, we found we had to venture that bit further for nicer food. Shuttle buses to Siam park and aqualand run from right outside the hotel but not sure on cost as we didn't bother with either. Good shopping in las vistas and las Americas including Zara & H&M. Not much difference in price point vs £ but good if you get caught on a rainy day like we did! All in all, an ok first family holiday but I think we'll look for something more catered towards families next year, and where air con is as standard!

Just returned from a weeks stay in September with my best friend. First impressions of the hotel, not great. As everyone is saying the hotel does look like a block of flats, however don't let it put you off! Hotel inside is lovely, really clean and spacious. The room itself was nice enough, cleaned every single day and had some nice little extras in the room - no need to take your own hairdryer, one supplied in room is amazing! However, main problem with the hotel no air con. Really a let down, would have made the hotel perfect had every room came with air con. We had to have the door open all week as it was just constantly so warm! Also only one plug in room, you can take the telly one out and have two however. New pool area is lovely - people do reserve beds however. We went out to bars most nights and getting up after 10.00 didn't leave you with the best of choice of sun beds! Staff in hotel are fantastic. Reception staff were lovely, ordered us a taxi straight away whenever we asked. Maids are great and all kitchen and bar staff work extremely hard. Entertainment staff were really fun! The girls were fab all week a real credit to the hotel, getting everyone to do the daytime activities. If you joined in it was a good laugh and there was always plenty on during the day to keep people active. Night time entertainment was good, with a range of singers and shows. The hotel entertainment put on a cinema show which was hilarious, they all worked really hard and it was a great laugh. We went all inclusive and this was fab. Drinks are served from 10.00 - 12.00 and there is a wide range of cocktails and spirits for all. The was a beer and wine pump at the bar for people to pour there own along with a soft drink machine. The pool snack bar was great, serving a range of hot and cold foods till 6.00. The hotel restaurant was lovely. A wide range of choices and was always hot and tasty. Always replenished quickly, nothing was ever empty and there was really a lot of variety for everyone. They had a few themed nights - Mexican and Chinese were lovely. The staff also cleared away dirty plates quickly and the restaurant was always clean. Overall great stay in a lovely hotel!

A family holiday of 20 plus , this hotel ticked all the boxes for our stay. Check in was smooth and efficient and a special request of adjoining rooms was also met. The hotel was immacuatly clean and all staff were dressed well also. We went all inclusive and breakfast lunch and dinner had ample choices to suit all tastes altough it did get a bit repetitive after a few days. Entertainment was good with morning and afternoon activities by the pool including aqua dance and aqua aerobics also a great foam party on one of our days. Kids are well entertained and a lifegaurd is on duty until 18.00. A hotel is only as good as the staff it employs and a special mention must go to Cassiano in the dining area and Roberto in the Blanco bar. Both were very professional and had a great way with guests and also the kids. Even when under pressure they always had time to chat and interact with the guests. A must try at the pool bar is the " pina colada roberto style" . I always judge a hotel by asking one simple question, would i go back ? And in this case i most definitly would.

Outside doesnt look very apetising, but once given our room we were happy enough,we was given room 805 our balcony gave us a panoramic view of los cristianos and the harbour, fridge and air con are at a supplement, we didnt bother.one of the drawbacks for us was having to pay 50 euros up front for any drinks bought in the hotel other than that you need a credit card,no cash is handed over to the staff (must have been fiddling in the past)food was the usual fare but was adequate and the staff treated us really well.location is very good just a ten minute walk from beach and shops but be warned when returning theres a small steep hill to negotiate,no bother though if your fit.

Stayed here from the 16th to the 22nd of August. Our room on the 6th floor was infested with bedbugs, we were transferred to an alternative on the 12th floor which thankfully was cleaner (although one night we did find a massive cockroach). The location of the hotel is great. Its only a 5 minute walk to the main promenade and beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's no air con. Breakfast and dinner were average. Although they tried to offer a different choice each night, some of the easy options were always disappointing (rice was always under cooked, chicken was dry) and if you're not on all inclusive then the drink prices are a rip off.

We arrived at the hotel and was offered a free upgrade by Juan. We received a room with lounge featuring televisions and seating area, mini bar with fridge freezer, bedroom and ensure shower room. The beds were comfy and there were complimentary toothbrushes in the kitchen. The corridors were clean and regular lifts available. The breakfast was buffet style, the milk was warm and the cereal chewy so we stuck to toast and juice or a yogurt. The evening meal was very nice, lots of choice but some items were not labelled. There were themed evenings, Mexico was a nice option with fajitas and burritos on offer. On the last day we could store luggage in a cupboard and the reception staff were very helpful. The buses for all the attractions picked up outside so hotel was in an ideal location, highly recommended.

Nice stay in a very well placed hotel. Best feature of the hotel is the 2 minute walk that it takes to get to the harbour. Staff were mostly friendly. Only real big disappointment was the lunch and dinner service. Both lunch and dinner we're a self service buffet with a very repetitive food choice. Overall I enjoyed my trip to Tenerife, but if I was to stay in this hotel again I definitely wouldn't go for the all inclusive package.

Stayed here 7th-14th September with my boyfriend. We had a lovely time, overall the hotel is perfect for what we needed. The location is spot on, central and can access anywhere. The pool area was lovely as has recently been renovated. The only slight downside was the food, it wasn't as nice as we were hoping for but still plenty of choice and always something to eat, just a little bit samey. The bar staff, Leo and Roberto in particular, were always very smiley and helpful and did a great job. We stayed in a premium room and so had the aircon and fridge, which we greatly appreciated. Lovely views and comfortable bed. The reception staff were also very helpful, giving us tips of where to eat etc (try out the lebanese called 'Habibi' if you can!) All in all a lovely holiday and would definitely come back! :)

Do not let the rather 70's look exterior put you off, this place has a great deal to offer, and exceeded our expectations. We stayed on the 14th Floor in a Superior room, with spectacular views over the sea and the hotel pool area. There was air conditioning, kettle and hairdryer. The bedroom and ensuite were large, and towels and bed linen were changed very frequently. The room had twin beds, and these were rather hard. Food was good, plenty of variety on offer, and never ran out! Although often busy, the dining room was not claustrophobic. There was always something going on in the evenings, either a singer, dancers or maybe a stage show. Our room overlooked the entertainment area, but everything stopped at 11.00 p.m. so we weren't kept awake! The pool has recently undergone redevelopment, and makes for an enjoyable swim or relaxation area. As per usual in hotels, towels appear on sun beds very early in the morning, I feel sure that some people creep down in the night to "claim" a spot, however, I always managed to find one! The lifts were good and speedy, there were accessible ramps for the disabled, and mobility scooters could be charged easily. The staff were friendly, helpful and very hard working. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel, and would not hesitate to stay again should I decide to return to Tenerife.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 7 nights in September and while this hotel is okay there are a few improvements that could be made. We booked a premium room, with a sea view on the 13th floor with breakfast. Reception area was clean on arrival with plenty of seating. Staff were very helpful and friendly when we checked in. They explained everything we needed to know and answered all of our questions. We were happy with our room, it was spotless, the bed was huge and really comfortable! However, there are a lack of power outlets to charge devices, the fridge didn't really keep things cool and the air conditioning was difficult to work at times. Our room was quiet most of the time but it could get quiet noisy outside. The balcony area wasn't huge but was enough for us. The bathroom was really clean, fresh towels provided daily and the shower was good too. Breakfast was not great. We only had breakfast in the hotel 2 mornings, every other morning we ate out. There is a good selection of food but the quality of the hot buffet (which we wanted) was not great. The pool area was nicely laid out with plenty of sun loungers. The pool was a good size and there was also a kids pool. Again, this was also really clean. If you want to buy drinks at the poolside bar you have to use credit or debit card or set up a tab which has to be paid at reception. We got drinks here once afternoon, the cocktails weren't great and the beer was warm. Location is brilliant! We were a ten minute walk from the beach, twenty minute drive from the south airport and there is a bus stop just outside the hotel that can bring you to all the tourist hotspots (waterparks, shopping centers etc.) If you ask for a taxi at reception it will arrive to pick you up in less than 5 minutes! Overall this hotel isn't bad but there is some room for improvement.
