Muy buena ubicación! Las habitaciones son sencillas pero cómodas, no tiene aire acondicionado pero Santa Cruz es fresco por la noche. Tiene ventilador y la nevera funciona perfectamente! Si quieres utilizar la caja fuerte del cuarto, tendrás que hacer un pago por ello, tómelo en cuenta. El baño no tiene la mejor presión de agua pero funciona. Lo mejor de la estadía fue la atención del personal sin duda!

I didn’t have high expectations, since it was so cheap (the room 307 for one person), but I want to be real and warn others: you getting what you paid for. No conditioner, just a loud fan. No toiletries or a wash cloth - just tiny packs of shampoo and a bath gel very poor quality. The mattress was super hard and had holes in it, and pillows were nasty with holes. The tiny bathtub was very hard to get in and out, because it was located in a narrow space between too walls. The water pressure was non-existing. The walls were paper-thin, and I was forced to listen my neighbors rated R activities. Also, in this small room for unknown me reason I had inside folded plastic table and a chair (I am guessing, they should be on a balcony). On a better side - the location was great, walking distance from the bus station, close to the beach, tons of restaurants around. The staff was very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sun Holidays. Simple but comfortable and very clean room with balcony. Excellent value for money. Very well located in a lovely area in town center: restaurants, shops, supermarket nearby. Quiet location. The big public parking by the sea is less than 5 minutes away, convenient when using rental car.

Hotel Sun Holidays is a budget, no frills hotel. The rooms are comfortable but basic, a little shabby in places. However, this hotel is in a fantastic spot in the town near great restaurants and cafes. The nicer part of town we thought, with an easy walk to beach and Lido. The staff at the Hotel were lovely and responded to our query about a larger room straight away - thank you.

This hotel is well located in the old town with a number of good restaurants within a 5 min walk, and a cafe/bar around the corner for breakfast/lunch/drinks. The hotel itself is a bit tired. The carpet on the stairs is threadbare, some of the decoration had come off our bedroom wall and where someone had redecorated they had also got a stripe of paint on the mirror frame. Overall the place looks a little scruffy and unloved. More frustrating were small practical issues such as the shower holder being fixed at such an angle that the water would spray straight over the top of my head or straight into my partner’s face, and this could not be adjusted. Additionally my partner’s bedside light and the balcony light were not working. We tried moving another bulb to the bedside light but it continued not to work so it seemed that the fitting itself was broken. We intended to report this upon checking out but we forgot. I’m not sure whether it would have been fixable had we reported it during our stay. Finally, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you are a light sleeper. The sound insulation both internally and externally is poor, so it can be quite noisy. Also the mattress is very firm so by the middle of the week I was quite achey and finding it difficult to sleep. Some positives though - the room was equipped with a powerful hairdryer and a fan heater, and reception provided a kettle when we asked. The little balcony was nice. We had a nice holiday overall.

The property is in a great location, walkable to everything. It is a little worn down, but clean and good value for staying just a few nights. There is a coffee vending machine in the lobby but no kettle in the room, just a small fridge.

Good value

The hotel is in a very good location close to a lovely square with good bars and restaurants; 2 mins from the town centre and beaches. Hotel check-in was quick, easy and very nice and helpful. The room was clean and had a nice little wrap around terrace. Wifi was poor; but overall good value for the very economical price

Stayed two nights and enjoyed my stay. I was given a room on the second floor at check-in, was not able to get one floor higher. There may be some sort of views on the 3rd floor but not on the second. Real quiet in the evening, well-located, no issues with wifi. Sound insulation from the walls was pretty dismal though.

Great value for money

Positioned in a quiet part of Puerta de la Cruz, yet close enough to walk to all the local amenities, Hotel Sun Holidays is a fabulous place to stay for those on a tight budget. Friendly service from the moment you arrive, bed was really comfy and the bar / cafeteria just behind the hotel was simply perfect for a coffee and croissant in a morning as well as an evening beer. The only slight niggle was the water pressure on the 3rd floor was fairly weak and the room over the coming months could possibly do with being modernised but that all said I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights there and would not hesitate to return.

It was clean, had a balcony and ensuite bathroom and it’s location in the old part of the town near the centre and a short walk to Playa Jardin beach made it a very good choice. The staff were excellent and very helpful in telling us the best restaurants.
