Mountain Lodge at Telluride

Gave us a two bedroom 2 1/2 bath condo with a view of parking lot and adjacent condo, no mountain views, no option to change the room. Walls paperthin herd people beside us and above us. Cars parking on the sidewalk forcing us to walk on the road through snow

We really enjoyed our stay; had a nice view of the mountains from our room. Recommend the junior suite, although the mattress needed to be replaced. Ski-in ski-out access requires walking down a short but steep path to the slope. Would stay again.

This is a very nice facility, but it is not in Telluride. You can get to Telluride on the free gondola system. Parking is very limited. You will be charged $20/day for parking. Mostly valet parking. Staff very courteous.

We stayed here Jan 12-17, 2015. The hotel staff was wonderful, especially the shuttle/valet guys! They upgraded me to a 1 BR suite which was nice. The room were clean and big. The 1BR suite included a separate king room with double sided fireplace. Only complaint was the fireplace didn't always work. Had to turn it on and off a couple of times but it was a minor inconvenience. Our room had a full kitchen with an oven! (Room 2217). Not all rooms have a stove and oven like the room I stayed at the following week, didn't have an oven. The market was a short walk away (or you can take the shuttle). Bought groceries to cook most of the nights we were there. The view was of the main building/hot tub and gondola. The outdoor hot tub was nice after a long day of skiing. Overall I enjoyed staying here. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The price was not bad at all. I would consider staying at this hotel next time I'm in Telluride.

Excellent Experience - Hotel has great location and wonderful amenities. Great Staff

This was a last minute decision, so I had to accept the room for the rate I booked at...however, aside from the following benefits: 1) Great location 2) Excellent food at the bar & grill (I highly recommend the Chicken Medallions and creamy mashers) 3) Reasonable room amenities There was one major detractor for my stay: Room 3008 is next to some noise source that is low in frequency and seems to DRONE ON AND ON AND ON. Sleep was not so fruitful and made for a less than stellar stay. The only other detractor was the lack of local parking. Seems that local parking is limited in nature, but I do understand why. I do believe, however, that a loading / unloading zone should be placed near the front door for each of the buildings, so folks can unload their luggage prior to parking their vehicle in the Gondola Parking Garage ($20/night). Otherwise, you have to drag luggage from the parking garage approximately 1/4 mile to the lodge.

this venue was absolutely beautiful surrounded by nature and so close to all of the activities offered in the area... stunning views from the gondola. the staff were accommodating and willing to help with problems. I would definitely use this venue again as there is no comparing beauty to this area. I upgraded for mountain views in a larger room and it was worth it!

Coming into Mountain Village at night wasn't good. The signage is very poor. We had a hard time finding the Lodge to check in. We were given our room keys, and told where our building was. The lighting was very poor, and there are no signs or numbers on the buildings to identify them. We had to go back to check in and ask again where our building was located. Parking was another issue. It is $20 per day, but there is not enough parking near the buildings. You may choose valet parking, or free parking in a lot quite a distance from our building. To get to that lot, you have to walk down what looks like a goat path, and again, no lighting! The room was very cramped. The window did not seal right. the bed next to the window was always very cold. There wasn't a fridge or microwave either. We used the window to keep drinks cold! The tub would not hold water, I think the drain plug was broken. We would not return to the Mountain Lodge at Telluride

little walk to the gondola, but great pool and they have a shuttle that will take you to the village, but does not run to late during off season. Good getaway if your not looking to be in the heart of the action

We upgraded to a suite, and it was well worth it. Luxurious, comfortable and a great view from the balcony. The staff was very helpful, and told us about some nice hikes. Gondola access very easy.

12km grom Telluride. Nice vlean room, but beware: 20$ extra for parking at their property and you have no other options.

This hotel was very quiet, and clean. It was a very relaxing trip.

This property was a perfect spot for a summer stop in Telluride. First, the location is great - just outside Mountain Village. And you have easy free gondola access to both Telluride and Mountain Village. The junior suite was very nicely appointed (though disappointed in the parking lot view of this particular room). I got surprised by the $20 per day parking fee (can't find anywhere on their website). Nonetheless, we would happily go back!

Great location, very clean room. Ski in/out at a fairly good price. Would stay again and recommend to a friend.

Skiing was fabulous and the staff was great at assisting any of our needs or questions

Beautiful area and a great experience! This was a two night stay with my 13 year old daughter and we both thought the area was extremely scenic. Very close to the Tram and the ski resort. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Staff were accommodating and went extra lengths to provide minimal distractions in getting settled. Of note Robert front desk and Raul. Pool is key differentiator for families summer getaway. Location perfect for town access on gondola. Will definitely stay again likely try winter stay.

This was our second time at this hotel and we enjoyed it very much! The location is perfect - steps away from the Gondola to take you into Telluride with a beautiful view along the way! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Our only complaint is that there is no elevator if you have someone in your party that requires this option.

The best part of the hotel is the location next to the gondola which takes you down into the town of Telluride. The hotel facilities are nice but nothing extraordinary. The standard room was tiny with little room to move around. The additional $20/night parking fee is a slap in the face.

You get all the benefits of mountain views with free gondola service to town. What a way to travel. Food in the bar was very tasty any night you didn't want to head to town. Staff was extremely helpful.
