I found this hotel south of old Jaffa to be a good location by the beach. The bed was not as comfortable as other Leonardo hotels. The rooms are small but setup is okay for one or a couple. The shower was very hard to use and the water never warmed. I was on the 22nd floor. The lower floors have water heaters you need to start but this floor does not. I was not planning to be in the hotel much so this was uncomfortable but workable for short term. The pool was very crowded and not very clean. The pigeons like to hang out at the pool and use it as a toilet. The pool has a connection to the indoor area but they had that closed off. The pool is on a terrace but the picture is better than reality. There is a spa in the building but appointments were not available for a week. There are not many food options close by. There are two restaurants at the sea side of the building. I recommend the one to the north or right side as you exit. The lounge is merely cold drinks and pretzels. I was the only one there at the time. It was not much bigger than the hotel room. I have stayed many times at the Leonardo Boutique Hotel inland and north of this location. It does not have a pool but is far superior in all ways. The rooms and baths are spacious, hot water is always available. The food and lounge is outstanding. I thought this hotel would have the same level of service but I found it to not be even close. I had pulled my back and need to leave to return to the USA ASAP after just one night stay. I explained this at checkout. They assured me a refund. Well after 2 months still no refund for the 3 remaining nights. Hence, if you leave do not plan to get a refund.
Moved south near the construction site. So a Suite Hotel might be best option. Sad choice in this case. Was stuffed in tiny dirty room with no table, working impossible. A business center is not available or what they call business center is far from something we know from other hotels. Only a hall with chairs, reminding on a meeting room in China. No printer, no computer, nothing. Not even a terrace to sit and read in silence is available. In general the hotel is dirty and old. Infrastructure well outdated. Needs urgent refurbishment. Keep away.
Great location - across the road from the beach.Hotel room good size, clean and modern. Nice bathroom. Huge bed which was super comfy. The breakfast in this hotel is amazing. SO much choice -the list of things to eat is endless and it caters for everyone. The staff are extremely helpful and during breakfast can't do enough for you. Goldie on reception also very helpful. Tips - We originally booked a junior suite but on looking at reviews changed this to a standard room. My reason was that i wanted to stay high up (for the views) and suites are not available on the top floors. We stayed on floor 22 - absolutely fab views! Our room had a fridge but no cooking facilities or settee (unlike the suites) However we didn't want to eat in so that was no problem. The rooms on this floor have a larger balcony. We stayed in August and our room face Jaffa (very important if you want to avoid sun on your balcony. It is so hot, a shady balcony is a must!) One small point - I don't understand why this hotel doesn't utilize the breakfast dining room during the day??? Why not serve snacks, cold drinks, ice-creams? And why not open up the shady outside area ALL day???
Older but nice. Very poor, inefficient check in. Great AC. Great bed. Nice shower. Very dirty couch.......yuck even....very good breakfast, great location. I would maybe stay here again if in area with family.
I'm really disappointed with this hotel. Because of my job I happen to visit Tel Aviv quite often and I'm usually booked in Leonardo hotels. When I see Leonardo suite bat yam in the reservation I start wondering what I'm going to deal with this time. It's old but this is not the thing. It's dirty and forsaken! The rooms are old with stained couches,chairs and broken tables! Doors inside some of the rooms are broken. The toilets are old and not well cleaned maybe not cleaned at all. so this makes it even more difficult to bare the situation! Breakfast is average for a Leonardo hotel and the area in 7th floor where the breakfast is located is dirty. All around dirty windows and a dirty balcony outside. On top of all these... opposite the hotel is a building under construction, early morning they start drilling and the noise is unbelievable! If you are lucky enough to get one of the renovated rooms- didn't happen to me so far but my colleagues told me that in this situation you are unlucky to be located next to the elevator which makes it very noisy and for a reason I don't understand music starts to play early morning really loud. For sure this is not a 4* hotel not even 3*.
We spend a great 10 days staying in Leonardo Suites. The room was clean, no complaints at all. Huge balcony with the sea view. Great spa, we tried massage and enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and food was tasty and fresh. Very good place to stay, would recommend it.
What a great location! Walk out on to Ben Grunion Rd. Plenty of food and drink close by, two places in the Hotel. The rooms at the end of the hotel have a better view, but all the rooms have a great view. The 22nd floor has just regular rooms, from up there you can see Tel Aviv or Rishon. Never felt safer!
I booked the Hotel for my relatives. The rooms are big and pleasant. However they were not too clean. Cigarette buds were left at the balcony. The food was good and the staff quality of service was decent. The Hotel, which is 3* for all intents and purposes is overpriced.
Experience was decent. Relatively clean but older facility. Good breakfast buffet. Rooms are older and not updated but functional. No iron or blow dryer in the rooms. Rooms are never available for early check in.
I've spnt three days for a business trip in this hotel. Good location, great view, very professional, attentive and friendly staff, which is the most important feature in any hotel from my point of view.
