Stayed here for a few nights on business. The rooms are huge. I had a room with a city ocean view which is fantastic. We had dinner in the restaurant which was ok but not great and as the hotel was very quiet at one stage we actually had to go and look for the waiter. The gym and pool are quite nice as well. I would stay here again.
We stayed there 2 nights for the weekend. First time we stayed in Tekirdag, we have been to many other Ramada's in Turkey. Hotel's location is not ideal, far from city. In general staff was very friendly, rooms are clean, breakfast was OK. In general, we were happy with hotel experience.
I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that it was a little over priced. We almost made the mistake of checking in to the 3* Yayoba Hotel just up the road which wanted 180 lira for room only accommodation. The Ramada is set on a hillside in an impressive location overlooking the city of Tekirdagi. With its own landscaped gardens and easy parking this 5* hotel is quite clearly the better choice. With no prior reservation we checked in for 220 which included a full continental or cooked breakfast. Check in was slick and professional and the lobby area spacious and well presented. They did initially offer us a smoking room but as any non smoker will know it stank of stale tobacco smoke despite obvious efforts made with air freshener to rectify it. We immediately requested another room and this was organized without any problem. The rooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms spotlessly clean. With everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms have air conditioning and a balcony. Being out of town and set back off the highway surrounded only by fields you are pretty much guaranteed a good nights sleep here. The breakfast is where the Ramada excels. They have clearly put considerable effort into making sure that guests get a 5 star breakfast. With a choice of continental or cooked and almost every conceivable type of cheese or Turkish breakfast variable, they made sure that there is something here for all tastes. Ramada in the UK is generally associated with mid range business travelers lodgings with a communal lounge and a small clean room with a laminate floor and TV. However, if you want to see how Ramada organize an upmarket location then this would be a good one to try out. The staff here are very accommodating and friendly. The hotel has a decent Wi-Fi for business travelers and the rooms have all the necessary creature comforts that you would expect of a quality hotel. I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment.
Great accomodation, quiet place, immaculate and good quality towels and bed linen, shampoo, conditioner and soap, great view in front of the hotel, especially in the night. Extremelly large breakfast offers, continentals and turkish dishes also, american cofee included, you need to pay for other kind of coffee. Indoor and outdoor pool, jaccuzi, sauna and gym place, allthose for free. Drinks on the bar quite expensive. Wifi available but you need to ask for the password every day, (daily changing ???). Very friendly and helpfull staff, english speakers.
We stayed here for one night on our way from Istanbul airport to the Aegean coast of Turkey. The access from the dual carriageway (very close to the hotel) was something of a problem for our coach, but our excellent driver managed to get us up to the hotel eventually. The only word for the reception area is sparkly - floor, walls, stairs. The room was fine, but the food was pretty dire. The place was busy, and the service was incredibly slow, which was not good for a group of people who had been travelling all day. There is a smoking balcony outside the restaurant (good) with doors that do not close unless forced to (on a cool windy night, not at all good).
We came here for a weekend trip and we enjoyed our stay. Our room was nice and had a balcony with a fantastic view (sea and nature). We ordered room service on the first evening and it was quick, delicious and not too pricey. Breakfast buffet was good. You can get fresh made omelette or other kinds of eggs. The only thing I didn't liked is that they don't have orange juice. If you want a fresh squeezed one, you have to pay 10 TL for it. Fitness room and inside pool are cool. I also had a Bali massage which was great. We had dinner at the restaurant which was also delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We can definitely recommend this place.
The Ramada sits on a bluff overlooking Tekirdag. it seemed a cold and unfriendly place on entering, mainly because, despite the fact we were in a group, there was no one there to help with the bags and the tiny lift was slow and claustrophobic. The food for our one evening meal was terrible, apart from the lentil soup. Apparently, we had veal - I say apparently as the stringy lump on my plate could have been practically any animal product. The service started out abysmally slow but then speeded so that dishes were slapped down one after the other. Our room was the usual fairly large corporate type with quite a comfortable bed and large bathroom. However, we were plagued all night - first by someone who decided to leave on the TV at high volume till 1.00 and then by partygoers on the floor above who kept it up till 2.00 am. Not recommended.
I stayed here for a night while on transit and I loved it ...the view was breath taking ... The room was spacious and with proper conditioning ...the mini bar was adequately stocked ...the hotel has a pool but I did not swim because it's winter ... But am looking forward to a longer stay when I return to tekirdag ... I would probably try their massage and also gym facilities .The staff was very friendly and helpful ....
The service overall was excellent; the front desk arranged taxis for me to travel around. The rooms are good size but make sure you ask for smoking or non-smoking. I booked a corner room and the size and views were amazing + two balconies. Be advised, it is on the highway outside of town. One plus is that it is quiet; the food is decent, but wander into town to eat. I tried to the spa and found it not quite up to par to what I am used to but the pool area was lovely and the breakfast buffet was very accomodating.
I was here from my company for one week. It was very nice hotel with very good service. In the room I smell litlle bit smoke from cigarettes. Hotel is not near to the see, what is small disadvantage, because it is not possible to go by foot to the see.
