Welcome to the "Thiersch im Palazzo" in Tegernsee!   Enjoy your holiday in a modern apartment in this beautiful villa in the city of Tegernsee. Tegernsee was known by the Benedictine monastery founded in 746, which now belongs to the Wittelsbach family. In addition to the private rooms of the Ducal family, the building houses the Degli Tegernsee brewery (brewery and the associated "Bräustüberl"), which is known far beyond the borders. The former monastery church of St. Quirinus and the state gymnasium. A lakeside path (some with jetty over the lake) offers you an entertaining walk from your accommodation to Tegernsee Castle.   The construction of the villa, in which the apartment is located, dates back to 1838/39. The architects brothers August and Friedrich von Thiersch redesigned the building in 1873/74. The two architects have u. a. also the justice building Munich and the Kurhaus in Wiesbaden built. The history of the house in Tegernsee is varied: Built as a representative palazzo in Italian style for the Serf Prince Welimir Mikhail Theodorovich, the building was also the "Grand Hotel Bayerischer Hof - Tegernsee" and later even housed the police station and the prison of Tegernsee.   Today, the "Palazzo" is a thoroughly renovated and renovated magnificent building. Stucco ceilings, rosettes, high and bright rooms create an airy ambience. Behind the house is a terraced garden that invites you to linger with a view of the lake. Kein Hinweis auf vielbefahrene Bundesstraße direkt vor den Fenstern der inserierten Wohnung.

Eigentlich ein Appartement mit tollem Blick auf den See, hochwertiger Grundausstattung und schönem Schnitt. Einrichtung geschmackvoll und komplett, Möblierung allerdings nicht für den häufigen Gebrauch gedacht. Hauptmanko ist der Straßenlärm. Nachts kann man aufgrund der schalldichten Fenster im hinteren Teil der Wohnung gut schlafen. Lässt man die Fenster offen, wird der Lärm durch eine nahe Hinterhofbebauung reflektiert, diese reduziert tagsüber die Heĺligkeit der Räume zusätzlich. Über ein kompliziertes Treppauftreppab kommt man zur Terrasse, die die Atmosphäre einer Bushaltestelle hat (Lärm). Man kann wegen der Nähe zum See hervorragend schwimmen, aber auch hier muss man Wartezeit beim Überqueren der Straße einplanen. Fazit: Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war für uns bzgl. der Wohnung nicht stimmig, den Urlaub am Tegernsee haben wir wegen der vielfältigen Aktivitäten sehr genossen.
