At Casa Iseo, comfort and style are seamlessly combined. This holiday home was completely renovated and modernized in 2019, from electricity and plumbing to heating, floors, walls, windows, doors, and even the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms have been renewed for your comfort.

In Tavernola, all basic amenities can be found: bakeries, butcher, bars, small supermarkets, restaurants, hairdressers, shops, doctor, and pharmacy. The center and the nearest beach are less than a 5-minute drive from our place.

A few years ago, we had a front-row seat from our terrace to the world-famous art installation 'Floating Piers' by the artist Christo. It was a temporary artwork on the water of Lake Iseo, consisting of 70,000 m2 of yellow fabric, supported by a modular floating dock system of 226,000 high-density polyethylene cubes.

There are numerous (sports) activities possible around our place: cycling, mountain biking, hiking, golfing, kayaking, sailing, and in winter also skiing (45 minutes drive) are common activities.

Shopping and city visits are within easy reach. Franciacorta Outlet Center (20 km) has 140 shops with well-known brands and real outlet prices. The covered shopping center Elnoss in Brescia is also great, with hundreds of shops, just a 45-minute drive away. As well as the Orio Center, also hundreds of covered shops near Bergamo airport.

Flying is possible, for example, with Ryanair to Bergamo Orio al Serio (30 km from our house, a half-hour drive by car). The Orio al Serio airport is just a half-hour drive from our house!

We are Dutch owners but have local help from an Italian lady (Mara). We are, of course, also always directly available at any time if there is something.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE:
-Our house is not suitable for people with limited mobility and is not equipped for babies, toddlers, or preschoolers.
-You reach the house via a staircase down (2 x 20 steps) and the house itself has two floors which you reach via an internal staircase. So, if you have difficulty walking, this might not be comfortable.
-The road to our house is 700 meters long and averages 15% steep. It is an asphalted road where passing is easy. However, people who are very afraid of driving up a hill/mountain might prefer not to book.

SAFETY:
- A very comprehensive first aid kit is available.
- In accordance with Italian rental regulations, 6-liter foam extinguishers with a fire rating of 34A/233B and a fire blanket are provided.
- We have ELRO FS461011 smoke detectors that comply with the NEN-EN 14604 standard.
- We have an Alecto COA3910 carbon monoxide detector in the house (EN50291-1:2018 standard).
- We also have a Nedis gas detector in the house (NEN-EN 14604:2005/C1:2008 certification).
