Bliss is a 2 storey, 2 bedroom characterful Taupo holiday home. Elevated to capture lake and mountain views, this private Taupo accommodation has decking and great indoor/outdoor flow for easy holiday living.

This comfortable Taupo holiday home offers space for up to 5 guests to holiday together, with a bathroom and bedding on each floor. Downstairs is bedroom 2 which is open-plan and has 1 queen bed plus 1 king single bed in an alcove space separated by a bookshelf with an array of books on offer. This room also contains a lovely seating area that looks out on serene garden views. To complete this floor, there is a bathroom and a laundry.

The internal stairs lead to the open-plan upstairs living, dining, and kitchen areas where the well appointed kitchen and generous dining table are easily situated for laid back dining. With a number of cosy places to sit, read, and marvel at the tranquil setting, the upstairs living includes 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a further selection of books, plus a bathroom.

The warm and bright indoor living flows to the outdoor living spaces via floor to ceiling glass doors. The split level decking offers outdoor dining, plus a lounger and other seating to relax and enjoy the scenery. There is also a BBQ on hand for an ideal summer set-up. Bliss truly is a holiday haven, being secluded and private for ultimate peace and quiet.

Amazing stay

We really enjoyed the property, great cooking facilities, amazing view and very tidy and clean. The only issue we had is we got one mountain bike stolen which was locked in the backward. Maybe give advice on what is the safest way to store our bikes at your property.King Regards,Marc

Great Place

Exceptionally clean and well provisioned. Had one small issue with the pilot light on the gas fire but Property Manager was very prompt at attending and fixing the issue. Would recommend this property for a quiet break-away.

Revisiting with family

Visiting with family from Australia after some years away. Hukajet, Kinlock, plus plus… shame about the 2hrs trip from turangi Friday afternoon thanks to Downer roadworks without any radio or AA warnings. Was a lovely visit. Lovely cozy cottage.

Beautiful setting

Lovely relaxing house, well organised and set out. The bush setting is beautiful. The dogs next door bark a lot and we found they woke us up in the morning

Home Away From Home

Taupo Bliss was delightful. It had everything one could want with loads of space for two couples to have privacy as well as lots of roomy space to gather together for meals and relaxation. The location is perfect for all the attractions of Taupo region.

Cosy home away from home with beautiful views

We stayed for 5 nights as a family in winter. The weather wasn't great, so it was really good to have a gas fire (which initially didn't work but the Bookabach representative got fixed the evening we arrived - thank you!), heat pump (downstairs) and radiator (in master bedroom). The house is in a residential area, up on a hill, about a 30 min. walk into town or a 5 min. drive. Easy access to the lakeshore and all important points of interest. The view from the beautiful deck is spectacular, especially on a sunny day, and we felt like being surrounded by native bush. There was space under the deck for the bikes, the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, beds comfortable and lots of different seating areas to withdraw, relax and read. The house is beautifully decorated, and oh so many books and some good CD's! The only thing one should be aware of is that there is no door separating the upstairs area from the downstairs bedroom (with own bathroom and sep. toilet). It worked well for us though. The downstairs bedroom is of generous size and great for kids/teenagers who enjoy having their own space. We would definitely recommend this house and would love to stay there again.
