Beds were comfortable No tv No blow dryers Window was broken 2 plugs 1 in bathroom and 1 in sleep area
The lodge only serves lunch and dinner. There is no place to eat breakfast. The beds were very uncomfortable, no TV/radio, no clock, no smoke detectors. I had a no smoking room; however I could smell smoke all night long. It was beautiful though!!
We visited this ski resort in July. You get to it through some of the most spectacular scenery in the US, climbing from Santa Fe towards Taos on the high road. A small river runs through it. Their standard room has two queen beds and a large bathroom, no TV, no hair dryer, no shampoo, no telephone, and you are in the mountains where cell reception is spotty. The motel is in the same area as the resort's RV and tent camping, and there were a group of boy scouts. The resort requests quiet from 10 pm tpo 7 am, and we slept well. We liked it, and might go again, but don't go if you are looking for entertainment that you don't make yourself. There is disc golf (like weighted frisbees), a chair lift on Saturdays and a ski lodge type burger restaurant. We drove the 22 miles to Taos instead and found a cafe in the Manby building galleries which was very very nice. If you want a more urban experience, stay in one of the more standard motels near/in Taos.
