Beautiful spot overlooking the bay. You can watch surfers/paddleboarders while you eat your meals (home cooked by the hosts). Short walk to a quiet beach. The host family is so lovely and will make your stay memorable.

Das Zimmer war das schlimmste Zimmer in dem ich in meiner gesamten Zeit in Sri Lanka war! Es waren tausende Ameisen an den WĂ€nden, auf dem Boden und am aller schlimmsten auf und in dem Bett!!!! Ich habe das nach dem Check In sofort platziert und die Besitzer meinten nur, dass das in Sri Lanka normal wĂ€re... Trotz "Entfernung" der Ameisen vom Besitzer, sind diese nach kurzer Zeit wieder gekommen. Im Badezimmer befindet sich auĂerdem Schimmel an den WĂ€nden. Ich habe die Unterkunft nach 1 Std verlassen, eine Erstattung gab es nicht. Ich habe dennoch auf eigene Kosten eine andere Unterkunft gebucht, weil ich dort niemals hĂ€tte nur eine Sekunde schlafen können.

Kleines famiiengefĂŒhrtes Hotel ( ein Bungalow, ein groĂes Familienzimmer) mit kleinem Restaurant mit toller Aussicht auf das Meer direkt an der wundervollen Bucht von Unakuruwa, die sehr gut zum Schwimmen und zum Surfen geeignet ist. Die ĂŒbergroĂe Herzlichkeit und die NatĂŒrlichkeit der Betreiberfamilie lĂ€sst ĂŒber Ausstattung der Zimmer hinwegsehen. Der gröĂere Bungalow hat eine schöne Terrasse. Es ist eher ein Homestay als ein Hotel. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt.

Nous avons Ă©tĂ© accueillis chaleureusement Ă notre arrivĂ©e avec un bouquet, une noix de coco et un lit joliment dĂ©corĂ©, une attention qui a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs apprĂ©ciĂ©e. La chambre Ă©tait propre Ă notre arrivĂ©e (sauf la douchette des wc) et la climatisation fonctionne bien, ce qui est un point positif. Lâemplacement est Ă©galement agrĂ©able, trĂšs proche de la baie avec une jolie vue, et la visite du jardin est plaisante.
Cependant, au fil du sĂ©jour (10 jours), plusieurs points nous ont déçus. LâĂ©tat gĂ©nĂ©ral de la chambre et du linge nous a semblĂ© assez mĂ©diocre. PrĂ©sence dâinsectes, insecticide fourni. Certaines prises murales ne fonctionnaient pas et la connexion Wi-Fi nâa fonctionnĂ© que deux jours sur toute la durĂ©e du sĂ©jour. La chambre est aussi assez sombre si la porte reste fermĂ©e.
Le petit dĂ©jeuner est inclus dans le tarif, diffĂ©rents chaque jour, (certaines prĂ©parations Ă©taient malheureusement brĂ»lĂ©es). Distribution de bouteilles dâeau sans prĂ©ciser quâelles sont payantes.
Les premiĂšres nuits ont Ă©tĂ© difficiles en raison du bruit (musique provenant de la baie et aboiements de chiens), et la literie ne nous a pas permis de bien rĂ©cupĂ©rer. Bien que la famille soit sympathique, notre relation avec lâhĂŽte sâest malheureusement un peu dĂ©gradĂ©e au fil du sĂ©jour.
Enfin, dans lâenvironnement extĂ©rieur, nous ne nous sommes pas toujours sentis totalement en sĂ©curitĂ©.
Dans lâensemble, malgrĂ© quelques points positifs, nous estimons que le sĂ©jour ne correspondait pas vraiment au prix demandĂ©.
