I contacted the hotel to make sure my best friend would have access as I had to cancel my trip. We arranged everything ahead of time and I have the proof (emails & Orbitz messages). My friend showed up & they had cancelled my reservation, rented out my room, he had no where to stay, and they STILL charged me. I contacted the manager and was told they would refund as they did make an error. But no refund 4 months later and they tell Orbitz they dont intend to refund.

They are in the middle of remodeling right now so they only have half the rooms available. I booked a single bed and other people who just walked in wanted the same but were given 2 beds and wanted a smaller room. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade for no additional cost to a larger room. I know she was doing this to make the other people happy but in the long run it ended it pouring my new room right in the middle where the main renovations were being done. A master key was given to my room and people were walking through my room with all my stuff still scattered around the room. They didn't even realize someone was still occupied in the room they were getting ready to demo. Someone had checked me out several hours before I ever checked myself out and they said it was my boyfriend even though his name wasn't on my room?
It was clean and convienent.. excellent place to stay for a quick trip
Smell of room was bad. Room was not a place to do any work. Tv is useless being mounted so high. Breakfast was adequate but you get what you pay for

The room smelled of dirty clothes constantly, the dryer in the facility didn’t properly dry the clothes . The bathroom door wouldn’t lock . There was big brown stain on pullout mattresses as well as the bed creaking anytime there was movement and red stains on the bedding of the other bed
Friendly staff easy to get to well marked nothing about the place I didn’t like
found a live roach in the refrigerator in the morning and had to throw out food.
My room was clean. They could do a better job with the cleanliness of the breakfast area. The same burnt bagels in the toaster two mornings in a row. Makes me wonder about the other stuff. Housekeeping staff was nice but the front desk staff was not friendly. No service with a smile there.

The young lady at the desk was fantastic. She was friendly extremely helpful. The room was clean and nicely set up. The Continental breakfast was delightful. I will stay there again in the future.

This was a complicated issue as we were unaware of a change in your booking. Until we heard from you which was way too late to correct anything. Your agent was late in informing the hotel.
