Welcome to your Talkeetna basecamp. When we designed this space, we wanted something that broke away from the usual cramped rental experience. We built out this 1,000-square-foot one-bedroom apartment attached right to our shop to give folks genuine room to breathe. We just finished the interior renovations this spring, adding custom shiplap, a clean ceiling grid, and fresh tile work in the bathroom to make the space feel sharp and comfortable.

Walking through the front door, the sheer size of the open floor plan hits you immediately. You are not squeezing past furniture or hauling heavy luggage up flights of stairs. It is a single-story, ground-floor setup. You pull your truck or trailer right up, step inside, and have a massive area to drop your bags, spread out your outdoor equipment, and relax.

The bedroom is separated from the main living area, giving you a quiet, dedicated place to crash after a long day. The full bathroom is straightforward, newly updated, and easily accessible from anywhere in the apartment.

Location is a huge advantage here. We are positioned perfectly—just 1.5 miles off the Talkeetna Spur Road and under five miles from the Susitna River. You get the benefit of a quiet, private property while remaining incredibly close to town and the water. If you are hauling ATVs, snowmachines, or a boat, there is ample room on the property to park large vehicles and trailers safely.

Whether you are heading out to fish, explore the trails, or just want a massive, comfortable spot to anchor your Alaskan trip, we have the space ready for you. We are often right next door working in the shop or around the homestead, making it easy to reach out through the app if you need anything at all during your stay.
