Very nice and quiet little hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and made you feel welcomed. The property has more of a small village auberge feel than a hotel witch I really enjoyed. This was a great find for my one day stop in Dijon!

The location is out of town, but upside is it is quiet. Car is definitely needed. Parking is included and secure. Rooms are tired, bathroom outdated and shower is very small. It is comfortable. Staff were friendly.

A clean, relatively fresh hotel near Dijon in a nice suburban area. The internet was down when we visited, so that was inconvenient, but hopefully that's not typical of this place.

Lovely quiet location with nice views from the hill but not walkable to anywhere to eat / drink - need a car. No restaurant or bar at the hotel. Rooms very small and need some TLC but very clean. Free parking a huge bonus in Dijon!

Quiet, lovely boutique hotel on hillside overlooking Dijon. Attractively decorated, great bathroom! Comfortable bed. Charming hosts who baked orange-scented madeleines for petit dejeuner. Just make sure you know the location before you reserve—it’s out of town so little in the way of restaurants and public transportation.

Cosy family hotel

We stayed for one night in the middle of August. This hotel is in a quiet village location near Dijon. There is plenty of free parking. Our room was very clean and comfortable. A few small niggles were that the bathroom door did not shut properly (having recently been painted, I think the paint was too thick around the frame). Also, the basin mixer tap could only product hot or warm water - not ideal if you want a glass of cold water to drink. Being a 3 star hotel, we did miss some of the usual amenities you find in higher rated hotels, such as a mini fridge or mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast continental and very good with organic eggs and homemade fruit salad. Staff were very helpful and accommodating to our wishes. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a great, no-frills stay in a beautiful location.

Dijon stopover on route to Alps

We stayed 2 nights in La Bonbonniere as a stop over travelling from the UK to the Alps. The hotel is situated about 5 miles from the centre of Dijon with easy access from the motorways and also to the town. Access to the town centre was also easy by car and parking in the centre of Dijon easy. Hotel facilities are fairly basic, but the rooms were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. There is a large secured car park on site. Staff were walk helpful and went the extra mile to make the stay enjoyable - suggesting things to see and do in Dijon (which is well worth a visit) We will stay in La Bonbonniere again if we need a stopover travelling down France.

Wonderful Hospitable Stay

We decided at last minute to stay in the Dijon area. I accidentally booked the room for the night before we were to arrive. The owner graciously accepted my apology and saved the room for us for the subsequent evening. He couldn’t have been more accommodating. We had a charming up-to-date room

Quiet hotel in secluded suburb of Dijon. Very friendly and helpful staff, secure private parking. Great views from the bedrooms. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
