Nothing great, nothing terrible. Good location in boring neighborhood, no restaurants, but close to metro stop. Most guests in hotel are chinese so breakfast is 90 % chinese food. Fair value.

Decent, clean and very friendly

Good clean place. Very friendly staff, breakfast deserves an upgrade. Breakfast is ok, but in comparison to other places in the same category it is missing 1-1.5 stars. At the equivalent of 125 US dollar is was an ok value. A bit dated, but clean and central. I had better value, but ok when on Biz trip. I would not be happy if I had to pay out of my own pocket.

Bad hotel experiences!

The service and location of this hotel was good. However, there were few negative impressions, air conditioning not worked while outside temperature was around 30 degree, the breakfast was minus and minus and the worst thing was the cleaningness of the hotel room really bad, my wife and I ha got bite marks.

Clean and good service

Welcome Hotel was simple clean and their service was really good. The location was convenient for us as we had our exhibition at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park. Walking distance to the train and as a bonus, there was a weekend Farmers' Market opposite the hotel when we were there. Overall value for money. Very much recommended

First let me state I did have issues at check in with a room that had a bad smell from wet carpets. The staff addressed this issue and upgraded my room for one night and then put me in a room with no issues. Kudos to the staff for this. As for the hotel, room and amenities, here are my observations: 1. Hotel is in a good location, only a block from the Shandao Temple MRT. Lots of people complained it is not close to restaurants or to the subway but is absolutely is. Maybe others didn't explore the area well, but there is plenty within blocks of the location 2. Hotel staff is A+. Staff went out of their way to be sure I was happy. It got a little stalkerish as had issues from day 1, but they were super attentive to ensure my experience was good. 3. Room is so - so. I was there to sleep and clean up, so the room was fine. Not really very modern, but adequate for sure. Shower head was behind the shower door (literally) and electric wires came out of the wall into two bed tables for light switches, which would have been way outside code in the US. With that said I got used to the new digs and my stay 4. Housekeeping - they were really good to bring extra towels and were never annoying like other hotels. They would always check with me before they cleaned to be sure timing was good for me. Most hotels you get an annoying knock at 6am from housekeeping. Not here, very respectful and attentive to your needs. I would definitely stay here again for the price.
