Good location

Near to train station. Is abt 15mins walk to the main Zhong Xiao East road. Abt 20mins walk to Taipei101. Lots of eateries near the hotel. Room is spacious. Service staff are friendly. Breakfast is not fantastic. Maybe is due to the renovation. So is pre packed bfast and we only ate on the first morning and decided to eat out on the subsequent mornings.

Although location was great, the property itself was old and run down. The closet had a terrible smell, and everything felt a bit dirty and grimy. The lunch buffet no longer was in service (which they don’t let you know until after you book the hotel), and instead we got pre-boxed sandwich which was mediocre and bland. I would’ve rather stayed in a nicer and newer hotel further away that is cheaper

Location - good Breakfast - lousy Hotel - dated need to refurbish Staff service - good except one bespectacled male staff on night shift Value for $ - No . For the same amount of money, I rather stay at Brother Hotel, illumine Hotel or Ceasar Park Hotel.

It has as a luxurious and antique feel to it when you walk into the lobby. Very quiet and relaxing. Deducted 1 rating because I felt like the AC was too strong. Some people say the AC is weak but I disagree. Even at the 25C and lowest fan speed I felt really chilly. Had to turn the AC completely off to let the temperature adjust to where I wanted it to be. Overall a pleasant and affordable stay.

I only stayed there for one night, but I thought that the room was very nice and spacious, especially considering the price. The hotel is about a two minute walk from the MRT station and there are a few bars on the neighborhood and a McDonald's right down the street.

Convenient location to Taipei 101

Location was superb as we were there for countdown of 2019! We could see Taipei 101 just by walking slightly down the road without getting into the crowd. After that we just walk back to our hotel and sleep. Very convenient. Hotel is a little old and rundown with a tinge of luxury left in it. Could tell that it used to be once glam and famous. Cleanliness could do better as it was all dusty under the bed when we peeped down to fetch our kids' toy.

For the price the hotel was really good. The staff were really friendly, and let us check in early as soon as the rooms had been cleaned. Well located only 15 minutes walk from Taipei 101, and close to several rail stations and decent restaurants. A bargain, and would stay again

The location of the hotel is the best. It is close to Xinyi-Daishui Jieyun ( red line subway). The staff at hotel are very friendly. The room in the hotel is comfy and clean. We will stay there again if we go back to Taipei next time. We highly recommend this hotel!

The only thing I liked about this hotel was the close proximity to the MRT. The hotel is old and the shower didn’t drain. I told the staff about it and there was no improvement. Also, the AC is very weak — even set at 15 Celsius. For the price, it is ok but just know, the amenities and property is very old.

Solid hotel at a good price; recommended

This is quite a nice hotel at a good price, offering a good, comfortable room in a good location within walking distance of Taipei 101 and the Xinyi-Anhe subway station (red line). I wasn’t as enamored with the room as on my last stay: this one had more modern decor whereas the last one had a really lovely old-style wood-panelled vibe, which I appreciated immensely. Perhaps that was a different room type. The food offered at breakfast, if you take it, is quite good, with the more local-flavored dishes being especially welcome.

Charming hotel was amazing! Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Breakfast buffet had a good variety. Our suitcases were brought up to our room even before we had returned to check in properly. Service was extremely prompt.
