We love this house. We’ve stayed now a few different times. My sister lives a few houses down and this is our go to for family trips. It’s well equipped for hosting dinners and is kid and dog friendly.

Great location and property with all the comforts of home. We really liked the separate areas and the large common area and kitchen. The location is easy to find. The only knock is that it smelled a bit of wet dog but I chalked it up to allowing pets and being closed up prior to our stay. The property could use a little updating but is a comfortable beautiful stay! We would love to come again!

Checking in to our rental was so easy. The kitchen was beautiful with most everything thing we needed (no sugar for the coffee)Everyone had a great time and slept well. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. One thing I would mention, when it says pool, sauna, tennis courts, it is actually a lodge about 3 minutes away that charges 24 per person. We had 2 children, 2 adults and 1 senior so it came to 120 for 45 minutes of swimming!

We enjoyed our stay. Great kitchen, but main room furnishings and bedroom carpets could definitely use a refresh.Listing needs to be changed to reflect actual 2 1/2 baths rather than misleading 3 bathrooms.

Great place

Very nice home sofas are fairly well worn there could be additional silverware especially forks. No major issues. One large Brown bear spotted in the back yard.backyard display this great tree.

Nice home, difficult access

House was nice, comfortable and clean. Need more forks😂 only have 8 total so lots of washing before meals and snacks. Front door entry was difficult at best, code is long and directions were not clear. Lots of steps up to house and inside, hard for anyone with mobility issues.

A Very Comfortable Stay

The house was just a described. We only needed the upstair area as there was just two of us. The house was clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the master bedroom was very large (I brought my yoga mat) and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have the garage to park in as the mornings were pretty chilly. We would book again without hesitation.

House in the woods

I stayed at the house for just 3 days but it was in the 70s the first day. By the third night it actually snowed some. The house was close to hiking trailheads but not far from town.

Perfect for a short weekend, wish we could have stayed longer

We were having a family gathering in Truckee and so unfortunately, didn't get to enjoy the coziness of this property as much as we would have liked, as we were out much of the weekend. This is a great spot. We loved the layout of the home, the beds were comfortable, the house was clean, and the hot tub was a wonderful amenity. The instructions for check-in, check-out, and the home were all very clear. Would definitely stay again!

Very Nice Getaway

This is a nice house in a beautiful neighborhood in Tahoe Donner. House is fairly large and comfortable. Kitchen is great and the hot tub on the deck is a plus. There is a washer/dryer which is great. The only real downsize is the amount of pollen everywhere outside - covering the back deck, the front steps and all over the driveway. It would be great to have that all blown off before the guests arrive and maybe have a blower in the garage for the guests to use. We had a very nice time and we would recommend this property.

peaceful, comfortable getaway spot

Our stay was wonderful and Just what our family needed. Beautiful main room with big windows looking out into the forest. Hot tub on the main deck was ideal! Bed's were comfortable and plenty of towels for showering and hot tubbing. The community was quiet and so are we so that was a perfect, peaceful match for our family. We will definitely book again and would recommend this home to others.

January Birthday’s Vaca

Due to the winter storm, 4 day vaca shortened to 3. Our day late arrival was greeted by driveway access unpaved. After a few calls, a very nice gentleman named Paul came out to try and fix the TV that wasn’t working. He was unable to repair it but was very helpful with us getting the driveway cleared of the ice. The home is beautiful and very clean. We had 3 generations in our group and everyone was comfortable. Location is great, close to 2 snowboarding spots. Loved the hot tub after a day on the slopes and the snowmen that were built out on the deck. Would definitely stay here again.

Nature disaster / Vacasa property management disaster

After a great one day stay, unfortunately the snow from the roof fell and smashed a window and wall which was a safety concern as we had 3 kids under 10. After that it was just a nightmare to coordinate relocation with Vacasa, we had to cut short our vacation and return as it was stressful to coordinate any changes with the property rental company . Still coordinating and following up with them after two days

Nice house and location. Here are some things that would improve our stay if we come back to this house: 1 - Toilet paper felt like sandpaper! Very cheap! I think we deserve better for what we paid each night. 2 - Paper towels were paper thin. Quality was horrible. 3 - No outside security lights until motion detection activated. Difficult to arrive at night in total darkness. 4 - Hot Tub was at 80 degrees when we arrived. It took most of our first day to bring the temp up to normal heat of 100-102. 5 - Had problems with AppleTV. No help when I called Vacasa. Directions were incorrect in your email. 6 - Weber Grill was very dirty. Had to clean the grates before use. 7 - Bath towels were still in washer when we arrived. 8 - Only 3 dish towels. Not enough for 4 nights/5 days. 9 - Expensive home, cheap amenities. 10 - Make some improvements and we'll come back! Thank you, Bill
