The view from the deck made out stay extreme enjoyable. The house was comfortable and well stocked. We would stay there again! The only cons were with the water regulator. You either got freezing cold or steaming hot water….hard to take a comfortable shower. Also the grill needs to be repaired or replaced. The heat diffuser was not working properly

Great property close to both Palisades and Alpine Meadow. Beautiful lake view and reasonably priced. Very well maintained and 10 of us 6 adukts and 4 kids were able to fit comfortably. Highly recommended.

Nice accommodations and view

This house called Lakeview Above the Trees was a joy to stay in. The accommodations were nice, the decor was delightful and of course the view of Lake Tahoe was suburb......that is if it's not snowing like it was on one of our days there!!!!

Awesome place!

Very clean, bright with lake views. Wood fireplace, plenty of sleeping space, eating & lounging for two families of 4. Well stocked kitchen. Excellent communication from rental agency. Overall good value.

Great property

Had a great time and was very pleased with the property. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we had everything we needed to make our meals during our stay. House truly is set up to accommodate the number of persons they advertise for….large enough dining table and seating for the whole group. I would say the only thing that could have been improved is a few more towels in each bathroom. Would definitely recommend this property!

The cabin is older but very comfortable- we found it to be well stocked and clean. The one concern I had was the listing called for two king bedrooms, one queen and a room with three bunks. The bed in the queen room was only a full sized bed- making for an uncomfortable night for the couple sleeping there. I would have considered another option for the weekend had I known.

Great - Just one thing ....

Hello, The property was just as described in the listing. It was clean. There was plenty of room for my family, the beds were comfortable, and Lake Tahoe is amazing. The only reason that I didn't give the house a 5-star rating was that the pots and pans are old scratched-up non-stick or aluminum. Yuck! Who wants to cook with those after a long day at the beach or on the hiking trail? This detail seems out of whack with the rest of the place. Based on the cost of the rentail, it's hard to understand why they haven't been replaced.

amazing lake tahoe house with views

absolutely loved our stay!! the house was very spacious and clean with incredible views of the lake. it was a short drive away from grocery stores and some beautiful scenic points. definitely recommend to anyone planning to visit lake tahoe

Great view, relaxing stay

We had a great time in Tahoe. We had three generations on our trip and the house was set up perfectly for it. We all had plenty of room. We all enjoyed hanging out on the deck and playing cards on the long dining room table. The kitchen was situated well with the barstools. A few more supplies would have been nice since we stayed for three nights but we brought our own to supplement. Location was great, Close to shopping and long walks at night. All in all a great trip! Would definitely go back to Lakeview above the trees.

Perfect spot for 2 families, esp with older kids

Great location, home was well stocked and comfortable, and a really easy lay out. We are 2 families with older kids (20-23) so they could we all could easily bike, walk, run, drive anywhere. Home and rooms were spacious for group dinners, cooking, hanging on deck and playing games. Had a great week, thank you!!

Do the dishes

We were notified in advance that the dishwasher was broken, but assured it would be repaired by day 3. We went the entire 2 week stay with no dishwasher! We don’t do dishes by hand at home, and having to do so on our vacation was no fun. We did receive a credit for our inconvenience. Lighting in the living room is very poor. We love to read, but could not with such dim light. Outdoor furniture needs new cushions and paint refreshing. Property was clean and quiet. The absence of a dishwasher and the improper lighting soured us. We will not rent this property again.

Warm Confortable Fabulous View
