Our Beautiful Little Ortigia Home

We adored our beautiful little apartment in the Giudecca neighborhood of Ortigia, very central and accessible to all areas of the Ortigia. The best part was the gorgeous deck on the top floor. We loved sitting up there with a glass of wine contemplating the amazing history of Siracusa.

Great location with terrace for amazing views.

This is a very cool flat. Such amazing views from the terrace. It's in a good location. The flat has a metal spiral staircase, The one bathroom is upstairs. I would encourage the owner to replace the sofa as it is rock hard and very uncomfortable.

Alles super, von der schöngeistigen Literatur bis zu den Rundblicken auf den Terrassen. Nur das Parkplatzproblem setzt rüstige Beine voraus!

Our visit to Siracusa was excellent, not least because of this excellent accommodation we were able to take advantage of. It had everything that I think you could want as part of a first-class stay. You are so close to so many of Ortigia's cultural and culinary attractions. If we're fortunate enough to return to Siracusa in the future I hope we'll be able to stay here again.

Incredible sea-view terrace in ortigia!

Excellent location. Beautiful apartment. Great communication with manager. Only criticism is very uncomfortable mattress. And there is a strong foul smell from toilet at all times. We left bathroom window open to help. Assuming typical but not sure.

The perfect choice!

The location was excellent! Close and convenient to everything. Cool and comfortable retreat from the very hot sun. Lots to see and do and many fantastic places to eat. The roof terrace was a wonderful place to unwind at the end of the day with a glass of wine.

Perfect place in Ortigia

The property is a lovely rooftop place with plenty of character. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge area very comfortable. Up the spiral staircase to the massive bedroom, plenty of storage space and a nice comfy bed. It was very hot while we were there and the air conditioning was very good (thankfully). Out of the bedroom and up the stairs to the roof, a fantastic view high above the town with views to the sea. Highly recommended.

Nice apartment

Nice apartment in a good location. Very clean and bed was comfortable. Nice view from the upper deck. The spiral staircase to the bedroom is pretty tight so you might not get a big suitcase upstairs. Big shower but very poor water pressure.

Lovely apartment in centre of the old town with fantastic views from roof terrace

The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a spiral staircase to the bedroom and then steps to the roof terrace, which is the highest in the area. There is also a balcony overlooking the street in the lounge. The location is perfect for the historic centre of Ortigia, with shops and restaurants all around, but as you are 3 flights up it is not noisy. We had intermittent problems with hot water and the fridge, but hopefully that will be fixed. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Great location and fantastic rooftop terrace

Casa di Eu is in an ideal location in the middle of Ortegia in walking distance of markets, shops, restaurants & beaches. The top floor apartment is spacious, quiet and restful, nicely appointed and blessed with a large roof top terrace, ideal for sunrise, breakfast, lunch, siesta and sunset drinks. Pierluigi was so attentive and helpful and very quick to respond to any questions or needs. Grazie e arrivederci a presto!
