Overall had a good stay at this hotel, staff were friendly and very accommodating , we celebrated a wedding anniversary and the staff had arranged some desserts for the room which was lovely. Buffet breakfast was nice and reasonably priced and the restaurant was beautiful A few things did let the stay down and would have me questioning going back, the room itself was quite small, bathroom very small and toilet did not flush very well. Not as many facilities as other city hotels in the same price range.

Everything was really nice, bed was comfortable, clean bathroom etc. Good size room with king bed and small table with chairs was cozy but more than sufficient. The self check in computers were fine, but if I had any issues, it wasn't immediately noticeable where to go for assistance especially if the concierge desk was inmanned. This became a big issue for me one night when I left the room around 1am to walk a bit. My keycard became unlinked for whatever reason and this is needed to allow the elevator to stop at your floor. My phone digital key didn't work for the elevator and there was no one on the lobby floor for about 20 minutes when I needed a new key. The self check in computer had no option for a replacement key, so this was a temporary issue, but frustrating in the middle of the night when there was no immediate way to call for assistance in the lobby. Nevertheless, I would stay at this hotel again.

good stay, relaxing and central.

overall the stay was great and relaxing especially central to harbour and main streets and locations. with all the recently upgrade costs - well done but still a few little issues with rooms and restaurant menu; - limited drawers in rooms for unloading gear for multi-day stays - bar fridge too small for outside daily purchases like milk, etc - no none-machine coffee - ie coffee packages, and cups far too small for a good drink or tea. - food is limited in restaurants to formal meals and not snacks or small meals except via room service. bar for that the best bed and pillows in past four hotels i have recently stayed - well done.

Not so good.

Not so good. Slow check in, room was not ready at check in time, had to check in and wait for the keys. Manager had to come and assist with handing the keys as reception was busy and not efficient. Pillows were smelly upon arrival, fresh and firmer pillows had to be requested. It was informed that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we were not expecting much from the hotel however our special moment was ignored by the hotel. Staff gave conflicting information about onsite breakfast/bar opening hours. Check in screens were not helpful as it said to see reception so no online check in to avoid the long wait.
