Easy to find location with security parking for a fee. Comfortable room with all the amenities including the kitchen sink. Front desk staff were friendly and informative. . Plenty of restaurants and cafes right outside.
Hi All, I live around this area and have found every month or so someone sets off the fire alarm. When a friend stayed here I noticed the room was small and that the fire alarm is right outside the bathroom door. Just be mindful if staying here as it will be an expensive night in Cremorne.
I spend my weekdays working in Sydney and have been staying at the Park Regis, Cremorne for the last few weeks. The welcome from staff is always warm, and they are very prompt to address any issues. The rooms are cosy and well appointed, with very comfortable beds. I find it very convenient to be able to cook for myself some nights, and the studios have an oven, 2 burner cooktop, microwave and fridge. The location is ideal- there is an IGA next door, and plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. There's also a choice of bottle shops. The Express city bus departs from the bus stop immediately in front (under ten minutes to Wynyard) or there's the option of taking the ferry from Circular Quay to Cremorne Point, then either walking or taking the bus to Military Road. Definitely recommend for people looking for suitable long stay options in the Sydney area.
We had a studio apartment for four and a half weeks plus parking while we were waiting for our apartment to be finished. It was small but cosy and great value for money. I think for a month maybe a one bedroom would be better as the fridges are bigger but we were very happy there and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The apartment had everything you could need. Washing machine and small balcony Couldn't sit on it but very useful for drying washing. Dishwasher stove microwave TV. Very convenient for buses and getting to town. Opposite the Orpheum so easy to see films. We loved it.
We stayed here for 2 nights and found the room but comfortable, but unfortunately the bed was small and nowhere to put our 2 suitcases. Front staff were very helpful and friendly. Supermarket and bottleshop was next door, with restaurants and takeaways close by if you didn't feel like cooking! Public transport is on the doorstep and a cinema across the street if desired. It suited our needs as we could walk to the places we required.
Rented small appartement with kitchen and it had everything we needed. Staff was very friendly! Comfy bed and nice little bathroom. Perfect location in Mosman. Sometimes you do get noise from traffic.
Best attribute is location if you have needs in these suburbs; price and value is variable have seen prices change dramatically for my different trips. Can get an excellent price for a basic room but they are ordinary with little taste or quality. Have basic facilities that are needed but most fittings and furniture are cheap. I had an apartment which was close in price to some excellent hotels in the CBD but the benefits of location for 3 nearby activities won the decision. $35 for parking in the suburbs is quite expensive. Would have preferred a harbour view rather than a main road view but the additional cost made the whole trip too expensive. Staff are friendly and helpful.
When you are charged $180 per night for a studio room you would expect something fairly decent. When you check in they take a $100 deposit on top of your payment and they tell you the money will be refunded to you once you check out, however they fail to tell you that the money takes 5-7 days for the bank to release the money back to you. This should be disclosed to the customer, you should not be told the money will be put in as soon as you checkout to then have to call to ask where the money is the next day. They also fail to tell you that it is $15 extra per day to park in the car park. When there are 2 people staying in a room you would expect to be given 2 room keys but no you have to ask for an extra key. The first room we were put in had an extremely inconvenient tub/shower which you need a step ladder to get into and due to it's poor design floods the bathroom when you have a shower. There wasn't enough room between the toilet and the washing machine for you to sit on the toilet. The bed was extremely small and there was no cover on the quilt they just put a sheet over the top. We were moved to another room which was much nicer however we had no hot water as a switch had been turned off, so i had to shower in another room to get ready for a wedding that afternoon. Paul the manager was very helpful and we appreciate you trying to help but this business needs a big makeover, will not return or recommend to anyone. May have been tolerable if the room prices were not so expensive. You definitely don't get what you pay for.
Don't be fooled by either the name or location. A group of us from work were booked in here for 2 nights from interstate. Unfortunately its about the only accommodation between North Sydney and Manly. Front Desk shuts down between 8.30pm-8am. While the rooms are smaill they do have all the essentials like washer/dryer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, bar fridge etc albeit old. The bathroom / laundry is very dated, stained tiles, rusty chromework etc, missing drain cover on the vanity sink. The bed is a double so small and should have been thrown out years ago as the springs were worn out, no support at all, woke up with a back ache that lasted all day. The balcony is decoration only, see the attached photo, about 30-40cm wide and mostly occupied by the A/C unit. If unfortunate enough to get a room facing Military Road, bring your ear plugs and some white noise, its like being above Pit Lane at the Indy 500 with the exception of 3-4.30am. No free WiFi
We stayed at the Park Regis for a wedding down the road. The room we stayed in, 401, was really bad. The bed is only a double size, I have never paid to stay in room with a bed so small. We are on the corner so there is good light, except at night when it may as well be day because so much street light comes in because the room only has blinds, many of which are missing. The street is very loud and the tiny aircon cools well but is the noisiest thing ever, even on a low setting. The shower has the smallest hot water system so you can only shower for a total of about 10 minutes which between the two of us is just not enough. The freezer part of the little bar fridge does not freeze. I will say that the staff have been nice but not enough to make up for this really bad room they have.
