This hotel has everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. Rooms are great size. Beds are very very comfortable, will several pillows choices to choose from. Great bathrooms, showers have two styles overhead rain shower or a more direct spray...and all the nice accessories soaps, shampoos etc. food choices are good and more options right next door at the RSL club. No views so to speak, but comfortable stay.
We love staying at Novotel Rooty Hill as it is an excellent hotel , very nice and clean and the staff is polite and friendly. Looking forward to stay there this Easter long weekend and enjoy breakfast room service and friendly staff
The service we received from all staff members was outstanding fro the moment we entered the hotel. The room was very comfortable and good value for money. I would recommend the hotel for anyone travelling to the region.
Ive stayed here many times its a great hotel ive never had a problem..rooms are always clean staff are helpful and the food is good room service and the restaurant. Being next to the RSL is nice and handy also pretty close to public transport etc
As a family of 4, we chose this Novotel as the rooms looked large enough for our requirements. The rooms did not disappoint, the shower was large (really large) and the beds were clean and comfy! Reception staff were very helpful, offering use of their computer and printer if necessary (despite the fact there is a computer for customer use.) Breakfast had a wide variety of food but I’m afraid I can’t say the same for dinner. Due to the extreme jet lag we gained from the flight, we didn’t feel hungry until around 8:30PM, unfortunately, most of the restaurants closed at that time even though it states the restaurants don’t close until 9:30PM. Besides that, this Novotel is clean, comfy and by-in-large, a nice wee hotel. Would come again, but not for dinner.
I have stayed here on several occasions now. On my most recent stay, I have found the hotel run down. My room was not clean, dirty marks on the back of the bathroom door, dirty grout, stained light fixtures. Breakfast is a must as is room service 10/10.
Pretty average Hotel. Should be 2 stars. Not anything extra to expect here. Food in RSL is too expensive. Did not try Hotel restaurant. Cleaning just ok, not more. No pool. Only obe elevator working for whole week.
Stayed here for 3 nights travelling back and forth between hotel to Sydney CBD and also a trip to the blue mountains. Hotel would be around 45 mins from city thru motorway and 1hr from the blue mountain scenic attractions. Buffet breakfast is good but had to contend with same menu for 3 days. During our stay- Only 1 of the 2 elevators working. Pool wasn’t available for the kids to enjoy too. Free bottled water refill, ice maker available. Our booked standard twin room is clean and very spacious.
Beaut hotel, very spacious and comfortable room. Very grateful to have been upgraded to a 1br apartment. Staff friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, beautiful food with fantastic staff. Breakfast was good too.,
Stayed here for one night to recover after i got discharged from a private hospital after a surgery(minor). Its a nice place to stay during heatwave or just for staycation. Spacious room, wide bed, clean (though ive noticed the phone in the room as very dusty) complete amenities and with complimentary drinks (bottled water and sodas). RSL, the bowling, aquatic centre is just within the compound and its just less than 1 km walk from the train station. I booked my reservation thru booking.com for $149 and arrived early than usual since i didnt know that i will get discharged from the hospital early. I arrived before 11am and asked if i can do an early check-in and i’ve been told i need to pay $50 if i check-in before midday or $30 after. I told the staff ill just check-in my things and will head to RSL to grab something to eat and will kill time. I’ve been offered a $30 fee instead of $50. Told the staff i’m so disappointed since i’ve never been charged with early check-in fee before (ive travelled extensively across the globe) and obviously there are so many available rooms since i was able to choose which roomi can go. She told me she’ll checkme in for $30. Since i was exhausted, starving and havent fully recovered from my surgery and having discussion which goes in circle, relented esp it was 40+ degress outside and im slowly losing my patience. I was also an ACCOR member but didnt count since i booked thru 3rd party. As a guest of the hotel you can get free membership to RSL rooty hill and you can order or charge any purchases in rsl to your room. You can also use the bowling and aquatic centre nearby. However in my case, I obviously didnt use the privileges but worth noting. I just realized now that i’ve been charged $50 instead of $30 for the check-in. For this experience i can say its not worth the money having spend nearly $200 since i can get a cheaper and better location hotel. If not for the early check-in fee ill say its value for money for $149 even though the location (rooty hill) is just within housing suburbs.
