Hotel Urban St Leonards

I recently stayed at Hotel Urban for a 3 day work conference. The room was small, but very cosy and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was fantastic! The cleanliness was the most redeeming feature and I couldn't fault the bed/pillow quality! The service at the front desk was a little slow- but the cafe made up for this. They were cheery, fast and the quality was also there. Great little hotel in North Sydney, if you have to be up there, why not stay here- convenient location, 10 mins walk from the station, its really that simple!

Late check in was a win, super comfortable king size bed that I really really wanted to take home with me. We had the terrace room, couldn't hear much from the roads with the door closed :) underground parking for a fee. Staff were very welcoming and we're happy to answer any questions we had. Great hotel, would definitely stay here again!

Very nice colors and nice to look at hotel. Very clean, amazing bed and friendly staff. We really enjoyed staying at Urban Hotel. Is not that far from the city center and there is a bus stop in front.

Stayed here due to work related travel to St Leonards NSW. Room was very good, bed was comfortable. The room was functional and had all the basic things needed for someone travelling for work -- even has a power board on the top of the desk so had plenty of power outlets to plug in laptop, chargers, etc. Room service was good, and food was good.

Easy to find and close to RNS hospital. The double room was clean and spacious. The tea/coffee was however tucked away in the bottom drawer, which was hard to find despite the little tag. The bedding was super comfy and this gives the above average rating.

Hotel Urban offers a myriad of clever design and services touches that make for an excellent short term stay. Interior design touches reflect a well thought through make over with comfortable beds and excellent bathrooms. Friendly and helpful staff through out. Very nice in-house cafe style options and close to public transport. A bonus for history buffs is the charming and fascinating Gore Hill Cemetery opposite. Highly recommended overall and excellent value for money.

A lovely boutique style hotel not far from st Leonards station meaning you can get into the city and suburbs. Its also a leisurely walk to many great places around this lovely northern leafy suburb. Greenwich wharf is a lovely walk away ( maybe 20 minutes) where you can catch a ferry and experience stunning Sydney harbour. The room was spacious and clean and well equipped. Lovely bed. Bathroom was clean - great shower! Breakfast was lovely with plenty of options and great staff Overall a great hotel , well managed obviously and certainly a fantastic alternative to the CBD!

Fabulous room with spa and excellent view across to the city and more. Great original menu meals including outside dining choice. Friendly service right through from Faisal at reception to Manager John. Ten minute easy walk to St Leonards station and close to North Shore hospital and nearby medical centres. A short train ride into Sydney makes it suitable for city access. Highly recommended.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel during the school holidays competing in a tennis tournament at North Sydney. Great little hotel and friendly staff. Somehow we were placed in a disabled room with twin beds and a courtyard. The room was bigger than the normal standard room. My only complaint was there was not enough bench space to put your toiletries. Overall very happy with this hotel and will definitely stay here again for future tournaments.

I booked a room at the last minute. It was a lovely, large room with a large bed and an outdoor terrace. I was so comfortable, That I extended my stay. Unfortunately, the room I was in was not going to be available. I was able to move to a new room shortly after 0930h. This room was also very comfortable, however, the air conditioner was not functioning and after assessment it was determined that I need to be relocated again. This time, Mariella (Duty Manager) upgraded me to a suite that included a balcony with views of the city and the Gladesville Bridge and its own coffee pod espresso machine. This level of service was above and beyond what I was expecting. Petra also provided a level of service worthy of particular note (although all staff provided excellent service) and the free wifi is a definite win. The shower was hot and toiletries of high quality. There was even a proper hair dryer in each bathroom. The block out curtains ensured that I had a sound sleep but some of the television receptions were not as clear as you would expect from HD. The cafe serves superb coffee and cooked my scotch fillet to perfection (rare).
