Hotel excellent - some of the waiting staff were not up to standard. Reception was pleasant and the room was fine, although we had upgraded to club. We had a good night's sleep and our stay, overall, was very nice.
Great stay at your hotel Dont let Airport experience upset your hotel experience will return again and eat again at hotel hotel was warm and friendly and good for families i would recommend the hotel for any type of stay
Great stay if you wanting 1-2 night stay. We found hotel to be very clean, but rooms suffered dated decor. (Hotel is apparently refurbishing this year/early next year). We had family room, super king bed, plus 2 single beds. Beds were most comfortable and we had great nights sleep. Free view telly with SKY SPORT channel (rugby mad family). Tea/coffee etc supplied . Bathroom had huge bath tub, separate shower, toilet, twin basin and toiletries/ bath towels supplied. Great breakfast next morning, but not included! Would advise to check price of alcohol etc from bars and check draught beers are in stock..........should you be having a drink or two, from hotel.
From the start at reception with Mohammad giving us a lovely welcome and the 5* food in the Terrace restaurant! I would come back just to have a meal in the Terrace! We upgraded room and had a fantastic experience. Can’t recommend the Hotel enough. 😁
We stayed there on the night before flight and on return flight to UK as we landed at midnight. Room very dated in decoration. But as a night before flight stop over it was ok . Only real issue I had was we went to the bar for a couple of drinks first drink no problem but second drink I gave the money over for the drinks money didnt go in the till but right in front of me he put the £10 note straight in his pocket and gave me the change out of a tip jar ...to be honest I was gobsmacked on what he did right in front of me I told the shift manager that he needs to sort some trustworthy staff for the hotel and then maybe the hotel would be able to update some decor in the rooms rather than staff stealing from the company ....
We had a family wedding and reception at this property and there were about 18 plus rooms booked at the hotel as the reception finished quite late. The front of office staff need to be more approachable and the night shift staff can be more friendly also. When you ask them for Water they say that the hotel Does not provide Drinking Water in the rooms and you need to buy from the Sports Bar. Over the years I have stayed in many hotels all over the world, and there is always Water kept in the rooms. I do not mind paying for it, but to be abruptly told they do not provide water, you go down to the Sports Bar and get it. It was not as the person on the reception desk was busy. He could have got me Water for medicine from across the Terrace restaurant. On returning home, my wife discovered that she had left a Dressing Mirror mounted on a pedestal base in our hotel room. I called the hotel on 3 separate occasions and each time informed that they would check with housekeeping and get back to me. A call was subsequently received that they could not find the mirror. When, I said that it was definitely left in the room, they said they would look further into this and promised to get back. 6 days later still no contact. The Mirror disappeared into the Universe. This Mirror was very sentimental to my wife. Rather an unpleasant level of Service
Well thought I’d walked through a 1980s portal. Decor - 80s, furniture - not changed since the 80s. Room smells funny. Bar does not accept cards, cash only. We’d heard the food wasn’t up to much so went out for dinner. Bedroom cold. Bath had no plug but did replace when asked. On the plus side, room and bathroom big. Bathrobes and slippers provided. Most importantly one nights stay and 3 weeks parking (going to Gatwick) only £100 so good value for money.
Ideal stop off for Gatwick Airport. Hotel Staff excellent but rooms looking tired especially bathrooms. Noise level in respect of closing doors should look at. Will use it again despite what I have said.
We booked for overnight with 10days parking. Mohammed was on reception and we had a very efficient and friendly check in. There was a boxing event on that night and we were a little concerned, but this was no problem. The room we were given was a distance from the event, and completely silent, it was large, welcoming and warm. The bathroom was large, clean with toiletries. We had also booked and paid for a two course dinner as part of the package. The food and service was without fault and excellent, in fact if I lived local I would love to eat here. If we travel from Gatwick again we will use them again. Also parking space large even with the event on and our car was in the same place that we parked it.
We used this hotel for its park and stay facility. We pre booked a room upgrade as we wanted a king size bed , ( which was very comfortable) this room happened to have a balcony which had two chairs and a table. We also pre booked a three course meal which I must say was really, really nice! Yes, the hotel could use more than a lick of paint and requires an update but We feel the that we received good value for money considering we had an early morning flight and M25 .. it was convenient and stress free for catching our flight. My only criticism would be the bed runner required washing/dry cleaning and the hair dryer needs throwing away cause it’s useless! The hotel and room was clean and all staff very friendly. We would use this hotel again.
