The Sebel Noosa

My family and I spent one night here. Firstly, the location is great. It is within walking distance to great restaurants, cafes and the beach. This accommodation wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't great either. I suspect we were given the worst room in the complex as we were only staying one night. It was a 2 bedroom apartment in building 3 ("Little Cove") on the first floor. The interior of the apartment is tired and in desperate need of a makeover. The air conditioning had 2 modes: freezing or off. The balcony overlooked the children's pool. It was so close, you could potentially climb over the rail and into the pool area. The apartment was dark and the rooms were small. There was barely any natural light, so it was necessary to turn on the fluorescent lights in the apartment during the day. The "mini bar" was a joke. $2 for a Freddo frog??? I requested a cot and high chair and despite multiple assurances prior to our arrival, it still took 1.5hours (check in is at 2pm, the cot arrived at 3.30pm). I was woken in the middle of the night several times by yelling. Not sure if this came from the street (we certainly didn't have a view of the street and the apartment was located on the opposite side of Hastings St) or within the complex itself. Oh and the wifi didn't work. For the price, this apartment fared well below expectations. It is adequate if all you want is a bed and a shower, but given there are plenty of other options in Noosa, I would go elsewhere.

Stayed here three nights as part of a.tour. The appartments are spacious, well equipped with free washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. We stayed in 525 and the only complaint I have is that as it faced out the back of the complex and had a lot of trees and bushes at the back, the appartment was rather dark. Having said that we enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful and the appartments are in a good central location and are very comfortable.

Lovely and cozy apartment with a kitchenette. The hotel have a nice pool in the centre, a little bit tricky for kids because it has lots of corners (mommy worried with the happiest kids ever), it was clean and beautiful. Very friendly staff in front desk. The bed is very good. The Sebel is located in the heart of Hastings St, where everything happens, however, it’s very silent because most of the rooms are by the pool, which closes 7pm. Daily room service. There’s a boardwalk to the Main Beach in front of the hotel. The only thing is there’s no free Wi-Fi, only one hour complimentary each 24hours. We travel a lot and it’s not common in hotels of this average range of price. The Sebel is Accor Group.

Great location right in the middle of Hasting Street Always well-maintained Only issue could be it is very family friendly therefore sometimes noisy kids in the pool otherwise fantastic I’m a huge Noosa fan

We stayed 7nights in room 233. Self contained 1 bed room apartment. It was clean and serviced every day... quite, relaxing. All appliances working a1 Foxtel also movie channels. We thoroughly enjoy our stay the staff are very friendly.

We stayed in room 137, a one bedroom apartment for the second time. The apartment is very spacious, well equipped (including spa bath and coffee machine), clean and located on the third floor overlooking the pools. I particularly like the Appelles toiletries - good quality and smell great. Friendly staff and the housekeeping team could not be faulted. This apartment was very sunny but the aircon managed to keep it a reasonable temperature; however a bright and sunny bedroom early in the morning may be detrimental to any plans for a sleep in. The location on Hastings Street is ideal - close to the beach, shops and cafes.

Upon arrival, check in fast, friendly & efficient. Plenty of parking near room entrance. Initial look of the room was quite spacious. We noted a quite strong 'wet' smell. Closer inspection reveals all the lounge cushions are mouldy as are the bottom of curtains & bottom of shower recess. The skirting boards are thickly dusty & grimey as are the air-con vents. The rug was also suspicious. Thinking we could solve the problem by rolling up the rug & pop it outside with the cushions, we couldn't because under the rug was worse. Lamp shade bearly hanging on bedside table! For the $ & location this is very poor house keeping for our yearly holiday. Shall not be returning.

Placed right in the centre of Noosa town, but set back from the road so it is very peaceful. The suites are very large, and well fitted out. Coffee and Tea are provided. You just have to cross the road at the front and it’s 100 yards to the beach. Noosa is quite chic (unlike most towns in Aus) and definitely very upmarket, with lots of nice shops and a plethora or restaurants to choose from. You take breakfast in the cafe outside the hotel, and it was very nice.

We only stayed 2 days but were very pleased with the deal from the Sebel. We were lucky to get an excellent deal as we checked in on a Sunday. It was great for kids with the pool, outdoor spa and we even had a spa bath in the room. We had a sizeable 1 bedroom appartment with TV, Foxtel and full cooking facilities. The rooms were clean and tidy (my only criticisms would be that the sofa bed was a little worn in places and it would be great to have better Wi-Fi-only 1hr free). The location was perfect, directly opposite the beach (you only need to cross the road to the arcade for beach access) and they supplied plenty of towels for both the beach and the pool. The hotel offered free parking which was a must for Noosa and we were direclty above the carpark so it was a breeze getting our luggage up to the room. There were plenty of dinning options for your meals-do your own cooking, ordering in or heading right out the front of the hotel where there were plenty of cafes and restaurants. Everything was so convenient and the late check-out was much appreciated (10:30-11:00am great when travelling with kids!). I only wish we'd had more time to spend there.

We spent 4 nights here after 6 weeks of travel and it was well suited for a relaxing stay. Comfortable and spacious apartment. I do agree that space for your own things is limited in both the kitchen and the bedroom but this is a minor point as the apartment is well equipped. Ideal place to be - only minutes from the beach, lovely walks and plenty of bars and eating places.
