We were in Noosa for the triathlon weekend, so the two bedroom apartment we had was booked 12 months in advance, and they insisted on full payment. Four nights was amost $4000!! Expected far more for that kind of money that eventuated. Our apartment was on the ground floor and faced onto the pool. The balcony was very large, but as the pool was full of children from 8.am to 7.pm there was no chance of using it. The little darlings had their own, very nice pool, but as the mother's preferred the lounge chairs in the 'adult' one they used it instead. It is a very small pool, and even if there was enough room for an adult to use it, four strokes and you are across it! We did ask to be moved away from the noise, but as the hotel was purportedly full, we couldn't be. The apartment could have done with a good clean - there was a build up of dust on all the light bulbs, along the skirting board behind sofa, sharing the same space with some other occupants detritus! The television was tiny - there wasn't enough cooking equipment to make cooking practical. The washing machine was broken - we tried one wash and it boiled the clothes. We did ask for maintenance and was told it was 'ok'. Boiled another wash, so they then came back and decided it wasn't! Couldn't do anything about it. They offered to wash our clothes, but we didn't want anyone else doing that! My bedside lamp was also broken at the top,but decided it wasn't worth the hassle of raising it! My foot stuck to something that had been spilt under the table at some time in the past, and when I wiped it up the space was a different colour to the rest of the floor. In conclusion - overpriced, needs a good clean and a good refurb. If they intend to charge like wounded bulls, at least give the guests what they are paying for. Very convenient position, but that's all it had going for it. A word of advice - with so many people staying, the noise levels and clanging gates as people come in and out late at night is a sleep destroyer!

Perfect location in midst of Hastings Street—room/apartroom was excellent —pool is ok for small kids —b fast you have to use voucher at aromas next door which is excellent food but busy. Noosa is one of best places in Australia

Was advised when booking that we may have to make a room change during our 7 night stay but they would try to avoid this happening. Upon arrival we were told we would have to move 3 Times! Spoke to Manager on duty. She was completely uncaring which surprised us as we had stayed here 3 previous times and never had any problem. She advised that she would try to avoid the 3 moves but promised nothing. The room was on 2nd floor above the spa. It is as very noisy with lots of kids in the spa every night. Also there was construction next to our room on the back side which started at 7.00 am. It was very disappointing but I was most upset with the Manager and her uncaring attitude to our problem. We paid over $500 per night and never felt welcomed. 2 days later we were told that they could reduce the number of moves but we decided to move out at the end of 4 days to another hotel. It has left a really bad feeling! I would never go back. Hospitality is everything!

We recently stayed a night at the Sebel and whilst it was not bad ,I just cannot comprehend why on earth it cost us $599.00 ? This was an impulse booking for our anniversary,so we expected so much more. However we walked away utterly underwhelmed by the experience. Don’t get me wrong the Sebel is a pleasant enough hotel- but it’s nothing flash, or special .The room fittings are out rather tired and out dated,we had no view,or no full length mirror- with a tiny old school shower.There was a bath in the room - but it was just your standard everyday spa bath. Went to use the pool and the stench of chlorine was almost unbearable ( mind you absolutely necessary ,no doubt due to the fact it was over run by screaming Rug rats everywhere).Perhaps we were paying for the name or the location - but even then I can only scratch my head at the price compared to other boutique hotels we have stayed in Australia.

Stayed for 3 nights. Perfect location in the centre of Hastings St, Noosa. Very good service, room very clean and soundproof which was a must as it was school holidays. Quite small pool area is only negative.

We spent 4 wonderful days in this hotel for our wedding anniversary. On arrival, the reception welcomed us and wished us a happy anniversary, and were most helpful in telling us about the facilities and best access to places. In our room, we found a chilled bottle of sparkling wine in a ice bucket, compliments of the management in recognition of our anniversary, with a lovely card. The room we had was perfect with doors that opened out to the balcony from the lounge and a beautiful spa bath in the bathroom. We had a "Sunrise" room, so we have warm sunshine to wake up to every day. The pool area was lovely, plenty of lounges for the guests, plus another separate pool and play area for the kids. Being right in the middle of Hastings St, very easy access to all the offerings on Hastings St and the beach is just across the street. perfect location, perfect weather, perfect place to go for romance or relaxation.

After our flight in was delayed by 90 minutes, it was so nice to be met late on a Wednesday night by a smiling face at The Sebel. They were there with advice of where would be open to eat at, what to do in the morning, things that were happening and everything we needed to know about the resort. The room was huge, with a big bathroom, home sizes kitchen, plenty of cupboard space in the bedroom, and not only a deck area, but also a little hidden garden where we could sit and relax in the sun, away from the wind. The pool area was inviting, though I imagine it would get busy during holiday times, with only about 20 sun lounges. But it was the staff who made the place something special, which is so important when you are on a short break.

We spent 4 nights at The Sebel to give ourselves a bit of a break from the cold Melbourne winter. We loved it and can't wait to go back. The hotel staff were warm, accommodating and friendly. We used the pool and the spa when we're not at the beach and the location was in the middle of Hastings street and within walking distance of eateries, shops, the beach, ferry, etc. The room is well equipped as there is a laundry, a kitchen and the fridge was well stocked with beverages and snacks. The bath has a spa and it felt like a home away from home. Very comfortable and we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing accommodation and facilities- we had an absolutely amazing time here and most importantly this hotel is very accessible for disabled visitors. Extremely clean and well maintained grounds and rooms. My only comment would be that the receptionist is super rude and this is quite off putting. Maybe she was just having a bad week but still....

Have had the pleasure of staying a week at this gorgeous resort. Room is amazing and very modern with all that you could wish for. Location is the absolute best in the middle of Hastings St Pool and entire pool area is gorgeous. Staff are so happy and friendly Well done Sebel team. We will be back.
