Beautiful Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Moffat Beach. The house was very comfortable, with beautiful water views that we enjoyed every day. Its location was perfect — just a short walk to the beach and close to local cafes and amenities. The beach itself was fantastic, especially for our dogs, who loved having the space to run and play. The whole family also had a lot of fun with the classic arcade game in the house — a great bonus that entertained everyone. It was the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway, and we would love to come back!

Family holiday with pets

The property was incredibly clean and welcoming. It was more than I was expecting from the photos. The location was great and the ability to have our dogs with us was wonderful. The property managers were great to deal with, communication was excellent. We hope to be able to return again.

Beautiful house in great location

Myself, husband and 4 kids stayed in this property for 2 weeks and my parents came for a couple of nights. The house is beautiful- upstairs area (main living area) has a great layout and is modern, with views of the ocean. The kitchen is very well kitted out.The downstairs area is nice also - a little dated but still functional. The laundry downstairs is only accessible from the outside which is a little quirky but not inconvenient. The entire house was clean and tidy .The outdoor pool was kept clean regularly by a pool maintenance company.Overall we had a brilliant stay and would come back again! Thank you.

Great location. Cleaning and age of the rugs and furniture let it down

We loved the great location close to the beach. Spacious and lovely home. Would have been luxe when it was built 20+ years ago. But when you borrow someone else's holiday house, it's not always perfect: The rugs in the bedrooms smelt of dog urine, and we found a dog poo on a rug in the games room on arrival. The house had been heavily deoderized to mask the smell, which was annoying. Cleaning in peak periods is hard with quick turnarounds between groups, but the owners should have replaced the rugs. The lounge suite in the upstairs lounge is sagging and uncomfortable. So, if you don't mind any of that (and obviously some people are good with dog smells) it's a great location and Moffat Beach is magical.

Great location with an easy 7 minute walk downhill to the beach. Cafes, a bakery, grocery store, and 7/11 are all within walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped with good knives and cooking pots, utensil selection.Clean and private pool, easy street parking available.Accommodation provides a Coolcabanas for the beach, which we used and enjoyed the shade. There were, however, a few issues that the owners may not be aware of, as they may not have been reported by previous guests. The foam in both the upstairs and downstairs lounge seating needs replacing—everything is badly sagging with no support, so you sink straight to the base, which is very uncomfortable. The oven door seal repeatedly pops off, and when it does, the oven stops cooking properly, which was frustrating. The Weber BBQ also had all gas pipes blocked; we had to clean and unblock them before it could be used.TV in the bedroom didn’t work and remote was missing. The balcony gets a lovely breeze and nice view of the ocean. However, the chairs are uncomfortable. Even thicker chair cushions would make a big improvement. after a long day at the beach, it would be nice to relax in more supportive seating. The only truly comfortable seating was around the pool. We ended up using those cushions upstairs on the lounge so you didn’t sink into the couches.Three couples stayed and appreciated the three queen-bedroom configuration, which was comfortable all with air conditioning.
View from the balcony
Shops and cafe at the bottom of the street
Beach is wonderful, slight cove, so no huge waves, but it’s not patrolled beach.
Poor lounge needs foam inserts replace.
