Hauser family stay

We had a great visit. The unit was comfortable and clean. Our hosts were very responsive although we did not have to have them intervene during our stay. We had a late night disturbance on our fifth night due to one very agitated and very high individual in the unit next to us. Our hosts could not have done anything different to prevent this from occurring.

Great property, location and service

We enjoyed our two week stay at this property and found it very comfortable and sufficient in space and amenities for 4 adults. The kitchen is well equipped for eating in, the large and small appliances all worked well, the large sink was nice and there’s lots of counter space for several people working together on meal prep. The dining space is good and the living room seating was comfortable and spacious enough for the 4 of us. In the bedrooms/baths, again lots of space, the toilets and showers worked well and there was lots of hot water when we all came in and wanted to shower at the same time. Our only slight complaint would be that the beds and mattresses were softer than any of us prefer. Also, these wood frame buildings really transmit the sound so, at times, the guys upstairs soundly like baby elephants on the move, but this is no fault of our owners, simply a reality of these Colony 1 buildings. It was also nice to be adjacent to the golf course and close to the ponds as there was always something to see. But one of the best aspects of the whole rental was the great service provided by the owner, Kim. She was very responsive to all my enquires when first booking and she went out of her way to help out when we were having trouble accessing TV service through YouTube TV. Many thanks to Kim who is clearly a very responsible owner and renter.

So relaxing

My husband and I had a wonderful month (March) vacationing at “”Walking on Sunshine”. Kim was great at communicating and we appreciated that they had everything we needed so as not to have to initially have to buy basic things like salt, coffee filters, garbage bags, dish & laundry soap/dryer sheets (which we replenished later). We enjoyed relaxing in the living room, watching the golfers and when my 2 yr old granddaughter came to visit for a long weekend with her parents, she loved watching the squirrels playing just outside the glass doors and throwing acorns in the pond nearby. There isn’t a ton of activity in sunset beach in March but we enjoyed golfing, walking on the beaches, shopping at Callahans, eating at Oyster Rock and Clark’s (in SC) and even seeing a show at Carolina Opry in Myrtle with friends. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend !

the 3 C's....Clean, Comfortable, Convenient

It is a comfortable, pleasant place to stay. Well decorated and homey. All the kitchen dishes and tools you might need ..IF you wish to cook! So many fun restaurants nearby, though. We enjoyed hosting guests ..ie..3 OIB .family members for a couple meals, and the occasional overnight + guests from other states.

We loved it!

The condo met all of our expectations. It was well appointed, very clean, looked freshly painted, i enjoyed the high end appointments like granite countertops in the kitchen and baths. It's on the ground floor which i really liked and parking was basically in front of the door which was super convenient. Just a short drive to the beach and restaurants. Check in and out process was silky smooth. Area was super laid back and quiet, great for relaxing. Would definitely stay there again. It was like walking on sunshine!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at “Walking on Sunshine”! The condo is in great condition and has all the amenities you will need. The location is great; it is 5 minutes from the beach and not far from shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Check out instructions were clear and Kim and Terry promptly and politely communicated with us leading up to and during our stay.

We highly recommend staying here

The condo is in a beautiful, quiet area that is nestled in the trees right off the #2 green. We enjoyed watching the morning golfers while drinking our coffee. The location is a short easy drive to Sunset Beach. The unit was very clean with updated finishes. A spacious, open floor plan that suited our family of 5 adults perfectly. The Owner’s communication was very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect Place

We used this condo to extend our Sunset Beach vacation to avoid the Saturday traffic and it was perfect! We enjoyed how well it was furnished and plentifully supplied. The location was great! We had a golf day, a beach day and a pool day! It was perfect! Will definitely visit again!!!

Absolutely Would Stay Again

We couldn’t be happier with the condo and our stay there! It is even nicer than in the pictures. Beautiful location, not far at all from the beach. Also especially loved the porch, we enjoyed drinking coffee in the rockers in the mornings. The pool was great, all the dishes we needed were there, cute decor and nice furniture. Also the inside of the condos was exceptionally clean. Communication with the host was prompt and polite. The only thing that could be improved is we didn’t use the small screened in porch off of our bedroom due to there being quite a few spider webs and a few small spiders. No big deal though! We would recommend staying there, you will love it!

Comfortable & clean!

We vacationed in the Sunset Beach area for the first time and we are so glad we picked this condo to stay in. Not only is it exceptionally clean, it was very comfortable (lots of extra linens, pillows and seating) and great access to the golf courses, the beach, and dining. Even the check in process was smooth. I would recommend this unit in a minute to anyone looking to stay in the designated area.

Great Rental for Beach and Golf Vacation

This was our first trip to North Carolina and we had a wonderful time. The condo was beautifully decorated, very clean and had all the amenities that you would need for your vacation and more. The space was perfect for us and our two adult children. We enjoyed both the indoor space and sitting on the patio rockers which have a lovely view of the golf course. Kim and Terry were great hosts who responded immediately to any questions that we had about the condo. If you are looking for an updated, clean, comfortable location that is close to the beach, several golf courses and shopping along with responsive hosts, this is definitely the place to stay. If travelling in the area again we would return to this rental. Thank you Kim and Terry for assisting us to thoroughly enjoy a memorable retirement vacation celebration!

The Best Stay

Pleasant walk on sunshine.

Everything was as promised (plus more) at the property. The welcoming snack was a nice touch. Absolutely one of the best VRBOs we have stayed in. Condo was clean and ready as promised, location suited us to a "T" since we have mobility issues, ground floor was very nice. We would choose this property in a heartbeat if and when we would like to visit this area.

PERFECT

Absolutely best VRBO I've ever rented. Owners thought of everything. Beautifully decorated and the kitchen is stocked with anything you would need. Excellent communication with them.
