We have rented several properties in this area in the past and both my wife and I agree this was the nicest / most suitable for our tastes. I'm a retired Interior Designer and always appreciate a well design and presented vacation home. This home was built in 2022 and has been maintained in excellent condition with an obvious eye for interior appointments and amenities. The property is actually more appealing in person rather than the listing photos, as the surrounding green space, beautiful seating areas around the fire pit, and at the river bank dramatically enhance the overall experience. The interior is beautiful and well thought and the kitchen a intelligent and efficient design with all the items needed for dining for small and large groups alike. The amazing outdoor space with fireplace was very enjoyable and, again, well appointed with tastefull furnishings. While it was just the two of us, the home would be perfect for larger family or small group as well. The only downside for this trip (I'm an avid fly fisher) was, I think, the water must have been too warm for trout as I spent several hours on the river with no success ( I think that is typical for portions of the Toccoa River through this area)In short, we would certainly recommend this property!!

1. Guest shower had barely warm water. 2. Dropped an earring back in the guest bedroom and noticed how dusty it was under the bed. 3. Dust under the sofa was visible. 4. Sliding door lock has issues. When I finally got it locked back it wasn’t used again due to possibly having to leaving the property with an unlocked door. 5. WiFi was extremely weak. 6. Ladybug infestation was annoying and I was warned day of arrival. 7. Tennis court picture was misleading on the website. It is on private property and not to be used. Property was nice and peaceful with supplies that were well stocked.Linens were plentiful and also nice and clean. Property manager was helpful.

Easy check in, nice relaxing location on the river and a nice house. There were a couple of hiccups during our stay, nothing major but the host was fast to respond and address. Would definitely like to come back

Super easy check-in/check-out. Host was very responsive with questions and helpful with everything. The home is very nice, the neighborhood/setting is incredibly peaceful. Would probably recommend bringing your own wood/fire making things if you want to build a fire in the firepit or outdoor fireplace. My son caught a nice big beautiful rainbow trout in the river at the back of the property and that will probably be a core memory for him for the rest of his life. We loved our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely come back!

House had not been properly cleaned….food & half chewed dog toy on the floor. ONE towel hook in the huge master bath. Terrible, hard bed pillows. No place in entire house to read as no table or floor lamps.There was a cold snap when we were there & the HVAC does not adequately heat the downstairs living area due to the 2 story high ceiling. Takes literally hours to bring it up to even high 60s.

This home is so beautiful and peaceful. Everything about it was pure bliss with such beautiful views. Can not wait to come back and stay longer with the entire family! Joni was so great to communicate with too which made this stay even better!

We had an amazing time at River Run Retreat! The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed, spotlessly clean, and had plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. The location is peaceful and beautiful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Communication with the hosts was excellent from start to finish. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Great Toccoa River Getaway

This is a great retreat for the outdoor enthusiast that needs all the modern conveniences for the family. Located just minutes from the Toccoa River Swinging Bridge, Rock Creek and Cooper Creek it was perfect spot for our vacay.
